    Obituary:
    Herman C. Wolfgram, age 75, died at 6:09 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 1985, following an extended illness. He was born April 20, 1910, in Appleton, and was an area resident all of his life. Mr. Wolfgram had been employed by Service Bakery for many years until its closing, following this he was employed by Elm Tree Bakery until 1968, and then was employed by the Town of Menasha Water Department until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
    Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Wood Thurk Wolfgram, with whom he had been married for 15 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jerome Geurts, Havre de Grace, Maryland; a step-daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Clifford Schultz, Darboy, two granddaughters; two step-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mrs. Clarence (Lena) Anderson, West Allis, Anne and Roland Schulze and Marie and Frank Brum, all of Appleton; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Clifford (Eunice) Kappell and Mrs. Leo (Millie) Kappell, both of Kaukauna; and Mrs. Eugene (Bernice) Peeters, Little Chute; two brothers-in-law, Lawrence [and Valita] and Sylvester [and Delores] Kappell, both of Kaukana; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence B. Kappell Wolfgram, in 1968; four sisters, Clara Hondo, Mabel O'Riely, and Helen and Ida Wolfgram; and a brother, Fred Wolfgram. The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 1985, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Bob Udulutsch officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna. Wichmann Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

    Shirley Mary Wolfgram Geurts was born to Herman and Florence Wolfgram in Appleton, WI, on June 8, 1934.
    Shirley is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jean Warren and husband, Michael, of Yuma, AZ, and Kathy Geurts Tosh of Havre de Grace, MD; and three grandchildren, Courtney, Kyle, and Garrett Tosh, all of Rising Sun, MD.
    Shirley met Army Lieutenant Jerome Geurts in April 1954 on his return from the Korean War and they were married on May 21, 1955. Shirley retired from Central Michigan University in January 1996 where she managed the Masters Degree Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground. Shirley, Jerome and family moved to Maryland in July 1966 after Jerome returned from the Vietnam War. They bought a home in Havre de Grace where they have lived ever since.
    The Geurts were active in St. Joan of Arc Church and are members of the T-12 Social Group. They loved to travel and two of her most favorite trips were to Kenya, Africa, on safari accompanied by her grandson, Kyle. She spent four years in Western Europe and traveled those countries extensively, plus all the countries of Scandinavia, and managed to visit Russia and Estonia, accompanied by her granddaughter, Courtney. She was accompanied by her grandson Garrett on trips to Hawaii, England and Scotland. She also saw parts of the Far East and North Africa.
    Friends may call at McComas Funeral Home, P.A., Abingdon, MD, on Sunday, February 28, 2010, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Aberdeen, MD, on Monday, March 1, 2010, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Samuel V. Young officiating. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, on Thursday, March 4, 2010, at 10 a.m.
