His relatives preceding him in death include his wife, Adrian na, in 1997; his daughter, Bonnie, in 1968; his son, Gary in 2002 and a gr andson, Joey, in 2001. Joe was born January 14, 1906, in Hollandtown, to t he late John and Anna (Haen) Van De Loo. Joe and Adrianna were marri ed on June 20, 1933, in Kaukauna. He resided the last seven years at the h ome of his late son, Gary and Donna, Kaukauna.Joe lived his entire life in the Kaukauna area, working as a farm hand unt il he started Van De Loo Livestock Sales, at the age of 28 and bought t he present farm in 1941. He retired in 1971, when his son Gary took over t he business, naming it Gary Van De Loo Livestock Sales, Inc. Joe continu ed to ride along to buy and sell cattle and greet customers. In 2002, gran dsons Gary, Jr. and Rick took over the business after their father's untim ely death. Joe was very active as a bank director at F & M Bank of Kaukau na for 30 years, from 1957 to 1987. He was a member of Holy Cross Cathol ic Church, where he worshipped until God called for him. Joe was a 50 ye ar member of the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed playing cards with his br others and sisters, family members and friends and had a great love of cho colates. He was active in the 4-H and church activities as his children we re growing up. Joe will always be remembered as a caring husband, father a nd grandfather, great grandfather and a good friend to all who knew hi m. Henry Vande Loo, 98, De Pere, passed away Friday morning, March 2, 2007. He was born on Oct. 12, 1908, in Hollandtown, son to the late John and Anna (Haen) Vande Loo. He married Sadie Gerrits on Sept. 24, 1935, in Wrightstown, she preceded him in death on Aug. 22, 2005. Henry worked for 24 years at A. G. Wells Company and at St. Norbert Abbey for 15 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish and it's Holy Name Society and the Catholic Knights.
Survivors include his children, Carol and Marty White, Chicago; Joann Vande Loo, De Pere; Rosemary and Gary Freischmidt, De Pere; Michael and Lois Vande Loo, Green Bay; daughters-in-law, Ann Vande Loo, Green Bay; and Linda Villiesse, De Pere; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one brother, Dr. Francis (Ceil) Vande Loo, De Pere; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hibbard, Aggie Gerrits, both of De Pere; two brothers-in-law, Donald (Ruth) Gerrits, Kaukauna; Leo (Gladys) Gerrits, Appleton.

Francis B. Vande Loo, M.D., 96, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 29, 2010, at home surrounded by his family. Francis was born September 2, 1913, in Hollandtown, WI, son of the late John and Anna (Haen) Vande Loo. Francis married the former Cecilia M. Vonck of Appleton, WI, on June 17, 1939, in Appleton.
Francis graduated from St. Norbert College and from Marquette University with his Doctor of Medicine Degree. He began a family practice in Brillion in 1940. Francis served in the US Army's European Theater, during World War II, from December 1942 to spring, 1946. He received the Code of Conduct Award, the War Victory Medal, and the Meritorious Unit Emblem. In 1946, Francis and Cecilia moved to Wrightstown, where he worked in family practice until 1970. At that time, he and 3 other local physicians started the first Emergency Room in Green Bay. Francis retired from the Emergency Room in 1983.
Francis was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family in De Pere. He lived a life that was guided by an incredible trust and faith in God, an unending love for his wife, Cecilia, and his family, and a passion to serve others. For his entire life, Francis gave others his time and was involved in numerous volunteer activities: staff president of St. Vincent Hospital, treasurer of the De Pere Golden K, volunteer at the Green Bay Free Clinic, St. Vincent de Paul, and Meals on Wheels, committee member of the Boy Scout troop in Wrightstown, member of the American Medical Association, State Medical Society, and president of the Brown County Medical Society. He was awarded a lifetime membership by the Wrightstown American Legion Club, and also received the St. Norbert alumni award.
Besides his service to the community, Francis treasured many activities, including golf, his garden, his workbench, summer vacations at the cottage, life on the Fox River, and time with Cecilia, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Most of all, a card game, with anyone, would bring a smile to his face, a twinkle to his eye, and most often, a victory.
Francis is survived by his wife of over 70 years Cecilia Vande Loo; his children: Francis Bud (Jan) Vande Loo, Winter Springs, FL; Patricia (Dick Micek) Hogan, Arvada, CO; Ronald (Darlene Atkins) Vande Loo, Washington D.C.; Susan (Charles) Pauly, Fishersville, VA; Marcy (Dave) Kopecko, Grafton, WI; Stephen (Debbie) Vande Loo, Roswell, GA; and Jeff (Candie) Vande Loo, Suamico, WI; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: John, Jacob, Joe, Ed, Henry, and Fr. Norbert; sisters: Clara Dietzen and Mary Fox.

Leo J. Van De Loo, Kaukauna, age 83, passed away at his home on Friday, March 5, 2010. He was born March 7, 1926, to the late John and Ella (Danen) Van De Loo in Kaukauna. Leo graduated from high school at the Salvatorian Seminary at St. Nazianz. During World War II, Leo served in the Merchant Marines in the North Atlantic and then in the Navy in the South Pacific. He returned home and completed his schooling, graduating from St. Norbert College in 1951. Leo married the love of his life, Helen Van Epern on March 31, 1951, and they were blessed with 6 children. During his life, Leo worked for Giddings and Lewis Machine Tool Company in both Kaukauna and Fond du Lac, where he served in management until his retirement in March of 1986.
He was also a Charter Member of the former St. Aloysius Parish in Kaukauna as well as the first Trustee and first Treasurer. Leo's faith life was very important to him and he put his faith in action as a CCD Teacher at the former St. Mary's Parish, worked Core Weekends and was active in Cursillo. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #1033 for over 60 years and served as their financial secretary for over 20 years. Leo loved sports and having fun. He was known for being a trickster and relished making people happy through his jokes. His kind heart had him visiting shut-ins and supporting them whenever possible. He especially loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Hatchell of Kaukauna on August 28, 1952, at Saint Mary's C atholic Church and was a lifelong resident of Kaukauna. Mary was a gradua te of Kaukauna High School and worked for many years as a bank teller at F armers and Merchants Bank. Mary was a deeply devoted Catholic and was a fa ith-filled inspiration to many people throughout her life. She was an acti ve member of St. Aloysius Catholic parish in Kaukauna and generously volun teered time to the Kaukauna Area School District. Kaukauna - Robert "Bob" VanDeLoo, Kaukauna, age 88, died Sunday, July 22, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 28, 1930 in Hollandtown to the late Jacob and Edna (Kerhoff) VanDeLoo. Robert passed away 44 years to the day after his father. He attended St. Francis Grade School, Hollandtown.
On November 22, 1951, Thanksgiving Day, he married Della DeCoster at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. On Thanksgiving Day 2001, they joyfully celebrated 50 wonderful years together before Della passed away in 2002.
Robert and Della raised their family on their dairy farm in the Town of Kaukauna. His love for farming came from growing up on a dairy farm. Robert was a member of Holy Cross Parish serving as an usher for many years, Supervisor for Town of Kaukauna, Board member for Center Valley Coop and Morning Glory Dairy Coop. He was also a committee member for Lake to Lake/Land O Lakes Coop. He was very proud of all the awards he received during his farming career for high quality milk, excellent milk production and innovative farming practices. He loved to tell a good story, share his quick wit, play a game of sheepshead and have a smile for everyone.

Delores "Dee" Hofacker, 80, Town of Center, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015, with her family by her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma (GG), sister, aunt, and a friend to so many. Dee was born on November 14, 1934, in Hollandtown to the late Edward and Margie (Carney) Van De Loo. She married John "Red" Hofacker on June 10, 1958. Red preceded her in death on February 2, 1984.
She and her husband farmed in the Town of Center. She was an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church. Her love of her Savior Jesus Christ was very important to her and she devoted many hours to the church as a Christian Mother, Chairperson for funerals and a choir member. She also volunteered many hours at St. Edward School. She enjoyed traveling with her brothers and sisters, baking, her flower gardens and watching the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
Together they raised eight children: Kim (David) Calmes, Sue (Mark) VandenBerg, Joe (Lorrie), Mary (Michael) Fromm, Mike, Jackie (Donald) Murphy, John (Lynn), and Jim (Kim). Obituary:
Stephen M. Groleau, 20, of Neenah, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012, at his home.
Stephen was born June 26, 1992, in Racine, the son of Richard, Jr. "Rick" and Jean (Coenen) Groleau. The Groleau family moved to Neenah in 1996, and Stephen graduated from St. Mary Central High School in 2010. He currently was employed with Kwik-Trip. Stephen loved music and was an exceptional guitar player and drummer, and loved going to rock concerts. Stephen had a great sense of humor and an awesome smile. He loved art and drawing and hanging out with his friends. Disc golfing and other rec sports were favorite things he enjoyed doing.
Survivors include his parents, Rick and Jean, Neenah; two brothers, Justin and Andrew, Neenah; paternal grandmother, Agnes Groleau Burch, Henrietta, TX; maternal grandmother, Ruth Coenen, Kaukauna; his aunts and uncles: Barb (Bob) Hintz, Sue (Gary) Smarzinski, and Pat (John) Meulemans, all of Kaukauna; Karen (Jim) Block, Merrill, Ann (Ken) Winius, Kenosha, Matthew (Jen) Groleau, Oak Creek, Lisa Groleau, Racine, and Sheila Groleau, Duncan, OK; his cousins: Brian Hintz, Michelle Campeau, Curt Meulemans, Becky Meulemans, Jill Smarzinski, James Block, Lyn Howard, Kyle Towers, Lorelei Groleau, and Logan Groleau: many dear friends, especially Heather Martinez, Alie Olson, Matthew Porn and Zach Beck. Stephen was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard Groleau, Sr. and Ralph Coenen; paternal stepgrandfather, Gary Yench; and two cousins, Craig Meulemans and Chad Hintz.
The memorial mass will be Saturday, November 24, 2012, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St, Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the hour of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

Vosters, Steve, AppletonAge 20, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 21, 2002 as the result of a moto-cr oss accident. He was born March 26, 1982 in Appleton; the son of Marv in N. and Patti (Van De Loo) Vosters. Steve graduated from Appleton Nort h, class of 2000. He was employed by Warehouse Specialists. Steve enjoy ed playing sheepshead, wrestling, working on cars, and snowmobiling, but h is love of his life was moto-cross racing. He was a member of St. John Cat holic Church, Little Chute and American Motocross Association.He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Patti Vosters, Appleton; three b rothers: Joe Vosters, Adam Vosters, and Doug Vosters, all of Appleton; a s ister, Jenny Vosters (fiance Nick Schaumberg), Appleton; maternal grandfat her, Robert Van De Loo, Kaukauna; and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Ca lixta Vosters, Kaukauna.
