    Robert R. Van Lanen, 53, Waupaca, formerly of De Pere, passed away unexpec tedly Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at his home. He was born October 25, 19 51 in Green Bay, son of Arthur and Mildred (Smits) Van Lanen. Robert w as a semi-driver for 18 years for Millis Transfer in Black River Falls, W I. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and enjoy ed riding his Harley Davidson and doing farm work. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Van Lanen, Omro; very special frien d, Kathy Verbanac, Waupaca; four daughters: Tracy (Tony) Junk, Door Count y; Jodi (Tim) Miller, Shawano; Trisha Van Lanen, South Dakota; and Keri (f iance Nick Bonney) Van Lanen, Woodland; four grandchildren: Brittany, Carl y, Zachary (Goober), and Haylee; a sister, Linda Gomach, Oshkosh; two niec es, Sara and Eve; and a nephew, Luke.
    Robert was preceded in death by his father, Arthur. Family and friends may call Sunday, January 2, 2005 from 3 p.m. to 7 p. m. at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere. Funeral service w ill be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment will be he ld at 10 a.m. Monday in the Allouez Mausoleum chapel.
