KEEFE - Margaret Fox Keefe, age 73, of Fairfield, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia, a retired executive secretary, died Monday July 22, 1996 in Saint Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. Born in Lexington, Ken-tucky, Mrs. Keefe had been a longtime resident of Atlanta prior to moving to Fairfield one year ago. She was active for many years at St. Marks Methodist Church in Atlanta; and most recently was a member of the Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Covenant Group and the Naomi Circle. She was the wife of the late Bateman F. Keefe. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Price and her husband, Robert at Fairfield; and two grandchildren, David and Lauren Price, both of Fairfield. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 25 at 10 a.m. in The Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Arthur L McClanahan, Pastor, officiating. Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Wednesday from 48 p.m. in the Spear Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rood, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mrs. Keefe may be made to the Memorial Fund at the Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church, 1089 Fairfield Woods Rd, Fairfield, CT 06432 .

Bateman (son of Keefe, Frank Bateman and Steele, Mildred Virginia) was born 4 Feb 1917, Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin, USA; died 29 Nov 1990, Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, USA; was buried , Lakeview Memorial Park, Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin, USA.
