Obituary:
Eugene H. Kobussen, 63, Kaukauna, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Gene was born Feb. 23, 1948, in Appleton, son of Harvey and Helen (Pennings) Kobussen.
Eugene is survived by his mother, Helen Kobussen Dutkievic; aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his father, a brother, James Kobussen, and a sister, Ellen Marie Kobussen.
Memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute with Fr. Robert Vandenberg officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Eugene's name.
