Obituary:
Mrs. Henry G. Verhagen, Anna, Kaukauna, age 79, the former Mrs. Henry Baeten, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday after a short illness. She was born February 9th, 1887 in the town of Holland and had been a resident of Kaukauna for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Alter Society of Holy Cross Catholic church. Mrs. Verhagen is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Leona) Retzlaff of Catawba Wisconsin, Mrs. Vernon (Darlene) Schnider, of Menominee Falls Wisconsin, four stepdaughters, Mrs. Ray (Agatha) Nussbaum and Mrs. Ervin (Millie) DeBruin, both of Kaukauna, Mrs. Norbert (Cecilia) Meulemans of Wrightstown, Mrs. Ignatius (Martha) Schuh of Freedom, nine stepsons, Father Norbert Verhagen of Yucatan Mexico, Father Donald of Michawaka Indiana, Ben, Lawrence, Richard and Sylvester and Raymond Verhagen all of Kaukauna, Edward Verhagen of Little Chute, Lloyd Verhagen of Sheboygan, one brother Anthony Weyers of Catawba, 90 grandchildren and 68 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the very Rev. Donald Verhagen officiating. Internment will be in St. Paul cemetery in Wrightstown.
