Obituary:
Daniel R. Giese, age 45, of Cloverleaf Lakes, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012. He was born February 10, 1967 a son of Donald and Donna (Springstroh) Giese.
He was raised on the family farm in the town of Oneida and graduated from Seymour High School in 1985.
On November 16, 1991 he married the mother of his four children.
Dan worked for many years at Aarrowcast Inc. in Shawano. He was an avid bow hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed being outdoors.
He is survived by his four children: Mathu Giese, Shawano; Shaun Giese, Seymour; Malauri Giese, Oneida; Abigayl Giese, Oneida; his parents: Donald and Donna Giese, Bonduel; grandmother Mildred Springstroh, Seymour; four sisters: Dawn Weiland, Seymour; Dana (Scott) Strzelecki, Bonduel; Debbie (Jason) Lindquist, Lodi, WI; DeAnne Salzer, Kewaskum; uncle Richard Giese, Brillion, WI; aunt Karen (Ken) Platten, Isaar; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank and Hattie Giese, and Helmuth "Bud" Springstroh; aunt Shirley Giese; brother-in-law Ryan Heiting.
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 9 am until services at 11 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place at Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour.
