    Obituary:
    Little Chute - Dorothy M. George, age 88, died Saturday, July 21, 2018 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton with her family at her side. She was born in Little Chute on October 6, 1929 to the late Theodore and Mary (Coopmans) Evers. Dorothy married Donald George on April 7, 1951 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Together, they loved to travel the US, Canada and Mexico on their motorcycles and belonged to various motorcycle clubs.
    Dorothy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Don; children: Diane (Tom) Diedrich of Kaukauna and Dennis (Judy) George of Appleton; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Dick Evers; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Pat Evers, David (Jane) George and Roger "Boots" (Doris) George. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Duane; siblings: Ted Evers, Bob (Marilyn) Evers and Bernice (Robert) Pritzel; and sister-in-law, Marlene Evers.
    Visitation will be held August 3, 2018 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Committal St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established to benefit ThedaCare at Home Hospice and the Little Chute Public Library. To sign the guest book, please visit oconnellfh.com.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Greg Johnson, Dr. Bruce Danz and the wonderful nurses at AMC 7th and 8th floors.
    Say not in grief that she is gone but with thanks she was here. Her grace and soft spoken way of life were a gift from God and will be missed. We were with her when she ended her life on earth and began a new life in heaven. When asked in her final days what she wanted she answered family and coffee, both of which she loved.
    Mom, give Duane a hug in heaven. I miss and love you both. Diane

    Duane D. George 620 George Street Kaukauna Age 44, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 1999, after a 13-year battle with brain cancer. He was born November 2, 1955, in Kaukauna, son of Donald and Dorothy (Evers) George. Duane worked for Appleton Papers for 25 years where he was a rewinder operator. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Duane loved his dog Snowy, working on cars, going fishing, and racing events, especially tractor pulls. Survivors include his beloved children, Sara and Emily George, Appleton his parents, Don and Dorothy George, Little Chute a brother, Dennis and Judy George, Appleton a sister, Diane and Tom Diedrich, Kaukauna eight nieces and nephews, Christopher, Brian (Jenny), Andrew and Nicole George Jennifer Tyler and her son Austin Shawn Diedrich and fiancee Stephanie Hespe Jay Diedrich and fiancee Amanda Morey and Tara Diedrich in-laws, Ron and Bernice Young, Kaukauna and his cancer support friend, Jeff Meulemans. Duane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester George, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Evers Sr. The funeral liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, November 12, 1999, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Dave Hoffman officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery in Little Chute.
