    Bruehl, Marion R.
    Marion R. Bruehl, 87, Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Brewster Village. She was born March 28, 1921, daughter of the late Louis and Myrtle (Ardell) Schwall. She married George Bruehl on July 11, 1945, in Temple, Texas. Marion loved golfing, flowers, painting and spending time with her friends and grandchildren.
    Marion is survived by her husband, George; sons, Karl (Katie) Bruehl, New London; and Michael Bruehl, Appleton; daughter, Cheryl (Richard) Stauder, Warren, Mich.; grandchildren, George (Sara) Bruehl, Robert Bruehl, Jason (Heather) Stauder, Sarah (Mark) Hallstrom, Michael and Karl Bruehl; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Lauren, Caroline and Grant Bruehl; sisters, Phyllis (Werner) Trunk, Appleton; and Virginia Guilfoyle, Orlando, Fla. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
    Marion was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Bruehl; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Bruehl.
    A Memorial Service for Marion will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Valley Funeral Home with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Visitation for Marion will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
    A memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and aides at Brewster Village for the compassion and care they gave to Marion and her family.
