    Gerald C. Schaumberg, 91, of Seymour passed away Saturday morning, October 14, 2017 at his home. He was born January 20, 1926, son of Gerry and Annie (Pautz) Schaumberg. On October 15, 1949, he was united in marriage to Gladys Wagner. The couple would have celebrated 68 years together today.
    Gerald was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour and farmed in the Town of Oneida until his retirement in 1988. He served as a Director with First National Bank of Seymour for over 30 years. He was an active member of the Fair Association. Gerald enjoyed playing cards with his card group at Petticoat along with friends and family. His favorite times were spent at Shawano Lake with family and friends.
    Surviving is his wife, Gladys; children: Grace (Robert) Daoust, Gary (Becky) Schaumberg, Karen (Mike) Schmit, Scott (Sarah) Schaumberg; daughter-in-law, Susan Schaumberg; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elaine Schaumberg.
    Preceded in death by sons, Bruce, Douglas and Greg; siblings: Marie (Gordon) Bunkelman, Beatrice (Frank) Murphy, Vivian (Marvin) Druckrey, Margaret (Maurice) Barclay, Florence (Herbert) Rucsh, Bernice (Jim) Riehl, Maynard Schaumberg and Dorothy (Carlton) Stellmacher; brother-in-law, Francis Beil.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 4:00 -8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 9:30 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating.     Gerald was just featured in the Advertiser as one of three of the last surviving people featured on the mural at the Seymour Hotel.

    Obituary:
    Gregory L. Schaumberg, 62, of Seymour passed away peacefully of natural causes on Tuesday morning, March 21, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born August 30, 1954, son of Gerald and Gladys (Wagner) Schaumberg. On April 16, 2004, he was united in marriage to Susan Gille.
    Greg was a 1972 graduate of Seymour High School. He farmed all his life and enjoyed motorcycle rides with family and friends, collecting toy tractors, and shooting pool with the guys.
    He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Seymour.
    Surviving is his wife, Susan; daughter, Jessica Maroszek; parents, Gerald and Gladys Schaumberg; siblings: Grace (Robert) Daoust, Gary (Becky) Schaumberg, Karen (Mike) Schmit, and Scott (Sarah) Schaumberg; mother-in-law, Alice Gille, Pulaski; in-laws: Bill (Barbara) Gille, Florida; Mike Gille, Florida; Theresa (Doug) Keller, Oregon; Geri (Jack) Racine, Florida; Eric (Cathy) Gille, Sobieski; nieces and nephews; godchildren: Sara Daoust Sickels, Amanda Johnson Kropp and Samantha Schaumberg.
    Preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Douglas; father-in-law, Earl Gille.
    Friends may call at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Friday, March 24,2017, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Saturday, March 25, 2017, from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral mass at noon with Fr. Brian Belongia and Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com
