    Leslie F. Schroeder, 92, Gillett, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006, at his home.
    Leslie was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Gillett to the late Frank and Natalie (Sommerfeld) Schroeder. Leslie retired from the former Green Bay Cheese Co, Gillett, where he was employed as a manager for 20 years. Leslie was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Gillett, all of his life. He served as usher and on the finance committee. He was an alderman on the Gillett City Council from 1961 until 1967. Leslie enjoyed outdoor sports, bowling and fishing. He enjoyed the fishing trips to Canada.
    Leslie is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Robert Miller, Sartell, Minn.; sister-in-law, Anita Schroeder, Gillett; nieces and nephews, Doug (Debie) Schroeder, Oconto; Janet (Rick) Jansky, Apple Valley, Minn.; Barbara Schroeder, Appleton; Dennis Schroeder, Gillett; Natalie (Clem) Alsteen, Shawano; Kenneth (Barb) Conrad, Abbotsford; Bruce Conrad, Appleton; Wayne (Ceil) Conrad, Manitowoc; Scott (Natalie) Miller, Plymouth, Minn.; Mark (Shelly) Miller, Karen (Andy) Bryce, all of Andover, Minn.; Joy (Jeff) Duma, Plymouth, Minn.; and Cherie (Jerry) Pavlik, Big Lake, Minn.
    Leslie was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and Walter; and one sister, Beatrice Thomas.
    Friends may call at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, on the corner of West Main Street and North McKenzie Avenue, Gillett, Saturday, May 27, 2006, from 9 until 11 a.m. Funeral services 11 a.m. Saturday, at the church, with the Rev. Lisa A. Ubbelohde officiating. Interment in Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett.
    Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, 920-855-2144, is assisting Leslie's family with arrangements.
    A memorial fund has been established for St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Gillett.
