    Obituary:
    Carl Verboomen died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 31. He was the youngest son of Mary (Heindl) and Andrew Verboomen. He was a life long member of St. Clare Church in Wrightstown. He was employed at Channel 5 as a transmitter engineer for 31 years, retiring in 1986. After retirement he drove school bus part time for Lamers Bus Service until 2001. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post, 436, in Wrightstown. In 1967 he married Linda Moran at Resurrection Church in Green Bay. He enjoyed deer hunting, bowling, golfing, fishing, and time spent with family.
    He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda, two children: daughter, Paula, (John Loew) in Pewaukee, WI, and son, Mark, at home. He is also survived by his grandson, Emmett Loew in Pewaukee; sister-in-law, Jane Verboomen, De Pere; brother-in-law, TJ (Kathy) Moran in Ojai, CA, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Romuald (Kathleen), Clarence (Roseann), Leonard, Paul and sister, Josephine (John Stienen) and his in-laws, Eddie and Betty Moran.
    Family and friends may visit St. Clare Parish-St. Paul site, 437 Main St., Wrightstown, on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Dennis Bergsbaken officiating. Full military honors will follow. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

    Mark Verboomen died peacefully at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born November 10, 1970 in Green Bay to Carl and Linda (Moran) Verboomen. He graduated from Xavier High School in 1989 and attended Fox Valley Technical College. He was a machinist for Ariens Manufacturing and for the past 20 years was a machinist at Van Zeeland Manufacturing in Little Chute.
    He enjoyed fishing, watching sports on TV, especially Brewers Baseball and Wisconsin Badger Football, and spending time with his friends at his trailer in Elcho.
    He is survived by his mother, Linda, in Wrightstown; his sister, Paula and brother-in-law John Loew in Pewaukee; and his nephew Emmett Loew, also in Pewaukee. He is also survived by many cousins, friends, and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Carl, his grandparents Mary and Andrew Verboomen and Edgar and Betty Moran as well as his God parents, Clarence and Roseanne Verboomen.
    Family and friends may visit at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St, Wrightstown, on Friday, November 17 from 3:00pm until the time of memorial service at 6:00pm with Deacon Ken Kabat officiating. Burial will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Wrightstown. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank the emergency room physicians and nurses at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care and concern for Mark. The family would also like to thank Mark's co-workers who stayed with him during his final hours for their care and compassion.
