    First let me tell you that there are several COLLAR genealogist who have been searching for years for the parents of Alanson Collar born circa 1802 in Dutchess Co., NY and married Sophia ____. To my knowledge no one knows the answer. I have volumes of data of the Collar, Coller, Collier, Etc. families and the MA, CT, NY, etc. data is massive. They moved so much and had similar first names, etc.

    We think that Alanson may be the grandson of Norris Coller who lived for a while in Ct and then Pawling, Dutchess, NY and eventually he moved to Butternuts, Otsego, NY where he died. He is the person who served in the Revolutionary War and I have those records. He had many children and much can be found about him in the Settlers of Beekman Patent series under Collar families. I have volumes of data for Norris and many of his children and their families.

    Thank you for sending your line. It is sketchy so let me tell you how I intepret what you send against my records and please correct me if I have any wrong data that you can add to or correct.

    1. Alanson Collar born abt 1802 and death date is unknown. He was not found on the 1860 census for Howard, Steuben, NY where he resided for many years. He married Sophia _____born 30 Sep 1791 in MA.(This would be your gt gt grandfather.) Their children:
    a. Warren Collar (1821-1900) married Betsy____ and Helen A Pratt.
    b. Lucius Collar (your direct line) (1824-1875) Lucius was born in Solon, Cortland, NY and died 4 Nov 1848 in Hortonia, Outagamie, WI. He married Susan Mantor about 1848/1849. (This is your gt grandfather.)
    c. Electa Collar (my direct line) born 12 Jan 1826 in Cortland Co., NY and died 27 Jul 1887 in Allegan Co., MI. She married _____Hooper and had twin boys, Alanson and Rensslaer Hooper. She married Elisha Field and I have much more on this line. Electa (Collar) Field was my gt gt grandmother thru her daughter Adelle (Field) Newcombe.
    d.Rachel Collar (1828-1875) born Chenango Co., NY. She married Henry Dennis Gurnsey about 1850. I have more on this family.
    e. Lucena Collar (1830-1832) buried in same cemetery as her mother Sophia in Fremont, Steuben, NY. I have a little more on that family.
    f. Lucinda Collar (abt 1831-1850) Married Nelson Miller and lived in Lima, Livingston, NY
    (note: There may have been other children of Alanson and Sophia not yet discoverec)

    c. Lucius Adelbert Collar (abt. 1854- aft 1932. Born in WI and married in Hortonville. Married Mary ____circa 1884/1886
    d. Charles W Collar (abt 1856-bef 1910) Born WI and probably died in Outtagamie Co., WI. Married Martha____.
    e. Susan Adelle Collar (abt 1856-aft 1932) Born WI and later of Appleton, Outagamie, WI. Married ____Greulich.
    f. Stephen A Douglas Collar (abt 1859- )Born WI.
    g. Barnum T Collar (abt 1860-aft 1932) Born WI and died - Of Hortonville, WI.
    h. Jennie P Collar - no other data.

    As you can see at this point, I have no record of a child Harold for Lucius and Susan. Harold is your grandfather. Can you give me anymore data about him? I would apprciate anything you might be willing to share.

    Norman Nash came the last of November and built a hotel, which he called the Hortonia House, on the corner of Main and Nash streets, on the site of the present Arlington. He had it finished and furnished and ready for the accommodation of travelers about August 1, 1850. Some time later Platt Rudd secured the hotel and operated it several years. Lucius Collar at a still later date kept tavern there. David Briggs, Platt Rudd, Byron Pelton and George L. Merrill became identified with the town when, June 27, 1850, they purchased the stock and store building of Mason C. Hulbert.
    Of fraternal organizations Hortonia Lodge No. 114 is by far the oldest, having been instituted January 17, 1867, with a charter membership consisting of James Hagen, Lucius Collar, Louis Jaquot, William Jones and William T. Hardacker.
    About 1856 Lucius Collar purchased the Hortonia House and kept tavern. About this time is dated the advent of Cyrus H. Wire and family, John and Anthony Logan and Edward Gowell, the latter engaging in lumbering and operating a steam mill. S. S. Whitman bought the water power mill of Briggs and ran it until its days of usefulness were over. Moses Allen, the first real storekeeper in Hortonville, was succeeded by Woodworth, and later Grant, after whom the stock passed to Charles and Herman Buck. Otto Buchman started the shoe business in the later '50s, and Julius Zuehlke came in 1855, followed the next year by his father, who settled on section 29.

    Obituary:
    On the 4th inst., Lucius Collar, of Hortonville, died very suddenly in the village of New London. He rode into the village at 10 o'clock, a.m. and at once complained of feeling unwell., and within a few minutes could neither speak nor move. Mr. J.C. Hoxie helped him into Dickinson & Trayser's store, and Drs. Reilly, Moore and Freeman were called. Despite all their efforts, he expired in about four hours and a half.
    Mr. Collar came to Hortonville about 20 years ago, and during the most of the time kept a hotel in that village. Few men were more widely known, and few were more generous in the relief of distress and in the early settlement of our county. Mr. Collar was never backward in promoting measures designed to benefit the people and to the settle the county.
    His sudden death was a heavy blow to Mrs. Collar, who has the sympathy of a host of friends in this county for her affliction.

    Elmer J. Collar, age 89, passed away, Thursday, May 10, 2007, at the Wisconsin Rapids Care Center, Wisconsin Rapids.
    Funeral Services are 12 noon Tuesday, at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Al Wierzba will officiate. Burial at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, Hortonville, WI.
    Elmer was born on June 16, 1917, the son of Wilbur and Gertrude (Dietz) Collar of Hortonville, WI. On September 14, 1938, he married Mary Reimer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville and they enjoyed 66 years together. After 15 years at Kimberly Clark in Neenah, Elmer built and operated The Dugout, a popular social and dining establishment near Hortonville. While at Kimberly Clark, Elmer was the main speaker for the salaried workers at the National Safety Conference in Chicago, IL. A baseball enthusiast, he served as the first general manager of the Wisconsin Rapids Twins, a Class "A" professional baseball affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. While leading the Twins he introduced a wide variety of promotional events. Elmer concluded his working career with the Wisconsin Power and Light Company.
    Active in sports all of his life, Elmer played baseball into his mid 40s. Elmer coached youth baseball, football and basketball in Hortonville for 12 years. He managed the city baseball team for nine years (6 champions) and was Umpire in Chief of the State Legion Baseball Tournament for 14 years. A popular area basketball referee and baseball umpire, Elmer helped train other officials and worked numerous games for the Harlem Globe Trotters. He also served as a part-time scout for the Milwaukee Braves and Philadelphia Phillies for 15 years.
    Possessing a great sense of humor, Elmer was a fascinating story-teller and enjoyed entertaining others with his recollection of sporting events. An avid sportsman and hunter, he spent quality time with his five sons. Elmer's idea of a good time was to be surrounded by friends, talking sports, telling stories and singing humorous songs. He lived life to the fullest.
    Elmer is survived by sons: Larry (Ann) Collar, Wisconsin Rapids; Bill (Holly) Collar, Seymour, WI; Rick Collar, Wisconsin Rapids; Randy (Pam) Collar, Wisconsin Dells; Marty (Carol) Collar, Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren: Dan, Mike, Susan, Angela and Sarah. Also survived by ten great grandchildren and a sister, Lois (Jerry) Gleason.
    Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary; three sisters: Marie Schagel, Sally Christiansen and Dorothy Schultz.

    Collar, Victor H. - Beloved husband, father and friend, passed away at the Bay Pines Veterans Hospice on June 19, 2008. Born on May 19, 1925, in Hortonville, WI, to Harold and Margaret Collar (Lippert) with siblings Lousi Francis, Willard, Adela, Eugene, Donald and Mario. Victor moved to St. Petersburg, in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe and Asia from 1945 to 1952. A Sergeant First Class, he is a twice Purple Heart recipient.
    Following a medical discharge with injuries incurred in battle in Korea. He worked professionally in retail sales at the downtown St. Petersburg Mass Brothers for 33 years. As a Roman Catholic, he was a lifetime member of the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle.
    Victor is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie Collar, children: David, Daniel, Bonnie and Brian. His Lineage includes 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
    Victor was laid to rest at the Bay Pines National Cemetery with full military honors on June 26, 2008.

    Eugene H. Collar, 82, Readfield, died on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center. He was born on Feb. 10, 1929, in the Town of Hortonia, the son of the late Harold and Margaret (Lippert) Collar. Gene served his country in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1956. On June 30, 1951, Gene married Arlene Arndt at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont.
    Gene worked for Wire Products in Hortonville, and later at Valley Iron Workers in Appleton. He then worked at Kimberly-Clark for 27 years before retiring due to health problems. Gene was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Readfield, where he served as a former elder. He had many interests throughout his life including hunting and fishing, golfing, playing softball and bowling. Gene also loved to go dancing. He enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, canning and working in his flower garden.
    Gene is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arlene; six children, Harold (Sandy), Waupaca; Michael (Marilee), Weyauwega; Mitch (Suzanne), Weyauwega; Jeffrey (Christine), New London; Kristine (Jody) Behm, Fremont; and Kathleen (Scott) Weiland, Fremont; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Corrine) Collar, Neenah; two sisters, Ardell "Tootie" (Stanley) Konieczny, Medford; and Marion (Clifford) Schimmelphfenning, Shawano; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont, and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

    Marion Margaret (Collar) Schimmelpfenning, 78, Shawano, died on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Shawano ThedaCare surrounded by her family. She was born on August 25, 1938, the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Lippert) Collar.
    Marion and Cliff were often seen at various polka venues and loved to dance and take bus trips to play the penny machines. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her an incredible amount of joy and she remembered them all with little trinkets and cards for every holiday.
    Marion is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clifford; five children, David Davis, Randy Davis, Carlene (Steve) Scherg, Lynn Davis-Hickman, and Theresa (Dave) Kabat; two step-daughters who she loved as her own, Debra Winter and Donna Koebe (Joe Harlow); 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald Collar and a sister, Ardell "Tootie" Konieczny; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Junior L. Collar, age 90, passed away at St. Joseph's Residence in New London, on Friday, February 5, 2016. Junior was born on May 28, 1925, the son of the late Lucius R. and Esther H. (Thompson) Collar. Junior was an Army Veteran, serving his country in WWII, where he was wounded during combat and received the Purple Heart. After the war was over, he chose to stay in Germany for clean-up. Junior was a lifelong member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton, a proud member of the American Legion Post 512 in Shiocton and a former member of the Shiocton Fire Department, where he retired after 28 years of service.
    Junior is survived by his daughter, Karen Massey, Shiocton; two sons, James (Cathy) Collar, Forest Lake, MN and John (Mary) Collar, Black Creek; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Dawn, Heather, Eric, Phillip, Angie, Danny, Christopher, Elizabeth and Ryan; six great grandchildren, Trayger, Audrey, Natalie, Tyler, Bristol and Ava and two sister-in-laws, Betty Collar and Rojene Collar, both of Shiocton. As much love as Junior had for his kids and grandkids, he had much room in his heart for his nephews and nieces, Bill, Jane, Tim and Diane. He is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and lots of special friends.
    Junior was preceded in death by his parents, sister Hazel and seven brothers, Charlie, Russell (Chink), Gene, Herman, Gordan, Jerry, John and a grandson Scott.
    A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton, on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Fr. Charles Brooks and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, February 8, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church and again from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Military rites will be held.
    The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence and Dr. Steven Goedderz for all the love shown to our father.

    Russell E. Collar, "Chink", 83, Shiocton, died on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, with his family by his side. Russell was born on Feb. 17, 1927, in Hortonville, son of the late Lucius and Esther (Thompson) Collar. On April 9, 1953, he was united in marriage to Rojene Bricko.
    Russell served in the military during the occupation of Japan, as a Screaming Eagle. He worked at Kimberly Paper Mill for 40 years, retiring in 1992. Russell loved to hunt, fish, watch sports (especially the Packers and Brewers), play Bingo and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
    Russell is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rojene; his children, Grant and Lynn (Dey), Bradley and Lisa (Degroot), Larry and Jody (Evers), Jon and Tracy (Jacobson) and her son, Andrew; a brother, Junior; a sister, Hazel; grandchildren, Scott, Ashley, Adam, Craig, Alissa and Mitchell. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Betty; many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charlie, Gene, Herman, Jerry, Gordon and John; and in-laws, Marshall and Luella Bricko.
    Funeral service for Russell will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton. Private family burial will be in the St. Denis Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses on 5th floor East Pavilion at Appleton Medical Center.

    Milton J. (Mick) Collar, 86 passed away on February 8, 2015 at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. Milt was born in New London, WI on August 13, 1928 the son of the late Milton and Helen (nee: Edminster) Collar.
    Milt married Ruth Lueck on June 24, 1950. She preceded him in death on March 20, 1977. He married Shirley Hughes Kronschnabel on August 11, 1979.
    Milt worked at Appleton Papers for 39 years, retiring in 1989. He was also a Hortonville Volunteer Fire Fighter and a lifelong member of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church.
    Milt was a graduate of Hortonville High School class of 1947 where he was very active in basketball and baseball. He was inducted into the Hortonville High School Baseball Hall of Fame in 2013 and remained a devoted lifelong Hortonville High School sports fan. Milt enjoyed attending his grandchildrens' various activities.
    Milt won the 1967 Professional Archers Association Indoor State archery championship. Milt owned and operated Collar Stalker Archery for many years and got many people in the Hortonville area interested in the sport of archery. He was a Bear Archery dealer and Fred Bear gave him a private tour of the Bear Archery Plant in Grayling, MI. He was an accomplished ping pong player, coached many softball teams and rarely missed watching a Brewer, Packer or Badger game.
    An avid deer and bear hunter, Milt was a lifetime member of the Wisconsin Bowhunters Association. Some of his favorite times were spent at his hunting cabin in Waupaca. In his earlier years, he enjoyed spending time with his family during annual vacations to the Minocqua area.
    Milt is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley, his children and grandchildren: Jolene (Larry) Lamers, son Clint Lamers; Brad (Jean) Collar, children Jodie Collar, Danny (Julie) Collar and their children Easton and Madelyn, and Kristina Collar; Janelle (Steve) Puckett, children Matt (Erika) Cooper and Derek Puckett (fiancé Sam Nimmer); and Jana Collar (fiancé Don Ogden).
    He is further survived by Shirley's children and grandchildren: Ann (Jeff) Pierre, children Carolyn (Travis) Pedersen and their children Jack and Benjamin; John (Laura) Pierre; and Kristin Pierre (Chad Balthazor); Karmen Jones, daughter Jessica (Mike) Sherman; and Ken Kronschnabel, children Taylor and Sam. Milt is also survived by sister-in-law Winnifred Laabs; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    Milt was preceded in death by his first wife Ruth, brother Bob Collar, and brother-in-law Gilbert Laabs.
    The funeral service for Milton will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hortonville, with Rev. Joel Jenswold officiating. Family and friends may visit directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Hortonville.
    The family extends a special thank you to the caring nurses from Theda Care at Home Hospice Care and to the compassionate caregivers at Cherry Meadows who provided the final parting gifts of dignity and peace. The family would also like to thank Rev. Ralph Rosenberg and Rev. Joel Jenswold for their spiritual care and compassion during this difficult time. -

    Ira Collar, Appleton, age 78, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 07, 2004 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1926 in Hortonville the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Hackett) Collar. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Purple Heart. After Ira returned from the service he pursued a lifetime career in Automobile Sales and still loved the business until he passed away. Ira was an avid golfer, football fan, traveler, music lover, and gardener. Later in his life, he learned to appreciate little children who were very important to him.

    Leroy F. Collar, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center following a lingering illness. He was born on August 15, 1939 in Hortonville, the son of the late Louis and Alice (Anthony) Collar. Leroy served in the US Army. He loved his family and friends dearly. Leroy had a love for the outdoors, camping, woodworking, NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. He worked for Presto Products for 38 years and 10 years for Clean Power.
    He is survived by his wife, Nona; two sons, Robert "Bob" Collar, and Gerald "Jerry" Collar, daughter Lynette (Russ) Beyer, and step-son Marty (Rebekkah) Kimball, three grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and three step-grandchildren. He is also survived by three brothers; Louis Jr. (Christina) Collar, Terry (Sharon) Collar, and Jim (Mary) Collar, two sisters; Rosemary (John) Rhoden, and Debbie (Lee) Gehrke, brothers-in-law; Rusty (Linda) Kimball, Jamie (Dawn) Kimball, Todd (Ann Resch)Kimball, and Robin Kimball, two sister-in-laws; Judy Collar and Toni (Jay) Post, aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Mardell (Marty) Phillips, and his first wife Marge Collar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Alice (Anthony) Collar, brothers; Frederick, Dennis, and Richard.
    A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Valley Funeral Home 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with Rev. Michael Huff officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 14, 2015, from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Leroy's honor.

She was born on April 28, 1951 in New London, daughter of the late Francis "Frank" and Eileen (Partika) Collar. Sue attended grade school at SS. Peter & Paul in Hortonville and graduated from New London High School. Sue worked for Presto Products for 30 years, obtaining the position of area supervisor. The past 12 years she was employed by K-Mart. Sue was active in the Weyauwega Jaycetts, winning numerous awards and became a State Regional Director. She loved the outdoors enjoying her walks in the woods. She also loved camping, gardening, traveling and doing crafts with her grandchildren. In 1971, Sue married the love of her life, George Montgomery at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manawa. They have one son, Whayne (special friend Carrie); granddaughter Calista and a grandson Bryce. She is Further survived by sisters: Pat Anunson, New London; Mary (Mike) Jansen, Weyauwega; Lori Collar, Waupaca; Donna (Roger) Besaw, Waupaca; Katie Weiland (Fiancé Greg), New London; Genny Collar, Weyauwega; sister-in-law: Diane (Bill) Anderson, Cotton, MN; brothers-in-law: Dennis (Justina) Montgomery, Duluth, MN; Dave (Gloria) Montgomery, Maryland; Keith (Sharon) Montgomery, Duluth, MN. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dale Collar, and her father and mother-in-law George and Jean Montgomery.
    The memorial service for Sue will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00am at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega with Fr. Paul Vanden Hogen officiating. A visitation for Sue will take place directly at the church on Friday from 9:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    Judith Ann "Judy" Gregory, age 60, of Greenville, died on Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Appleton Medical Center in the arms of her devoted husband, with her family at her side. Judy was born on November 26, 1946, in Hortonville to the late Dean and Doris (Burton) Collar. She married Gordon Gregory on August 6, 1966, in Appleton. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was well-known for being selfless, always putting others first. Judy truly enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting dolls, reading, fishing, board games, and was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Baking and cooking for family members and friends was a joy for Judy. Judy was employed at BankOne-Appleton for over 22 years and most recently at Datamatic. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 West Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. Tom Ferrell officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Hortonville. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at AMC and the Martha Seikman Cancer Center for their loving care. A memorial has been established in her name.

    Andrew G. Collar, age 60 of Appleton, passed away late Thursday, October 15, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 4, 1955 to Paulene "Bonnie" and Ira Collar. On September 26, 1980, he married Mary Korinek.
    An avid outdoorsman, Andy loved fishing off the end of his dock and his hunting trips to Canada. He was a multiple-time state champion of sporting clays and was able to strike up a conversation with anyone. Andy worked for the Gibson brothers for six years until he began working for Bergstrom in 1982 as a manager of used car sales. He will always be remembered for his epic mustache and his love of quietly watching sports.
    Andy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; his children: Kate Collar; Nick Collar; and Jessy (Charlie) Collar-Zander; as well as his mother, Bonnie. He is further survived by his brothers: Bud (Kathy); Joseph (Mary); Charlie (Judy); Dominic (Nancy); and David (Kim); his step-mother, Donna; many nieces and nephews, and his cat, Dr. Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira; his grandparents, Joseph "Zip" & Marie "Nonnie" Schuster; and his brother, Christopher.
    A memorial gathering for Andy will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Please come and share memories of Andy, but don't wear black! To honor Andy, please wear something camouflage or Packer related.

    Keith L. Collar, age 71, of Hortonville, died with dignity surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. Keith was born in Eleria, Ohio, on January 12, 1937, son of the late Lloyd and Rosamond (Peterson) Collar. On June 7, 1958, he was united in marriage to Janice Reimer in Hortonville. He worked as a cable splice technician for Ameritech for 32 years retiring in 1991. He then worked for Frontier Telephone for 14 years and also owned and operated J & K Communications in Hortonville. Keith loved to golf and had 4 holes in one during his life. He was a member of Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who meant everything to him. He served his country in the US Army from 1954-1956, serving in Guam, Japan and Philippians.
    Keith is survived by his wife, Janice; two daughters: Denise (Dave) Dorn; Rebecca Collar; a son Dan (Brenda) Collar, all of Hortonville; six grandchildren: Ashley Dorn, Josey, Dorn, Tasia Parker, Chase Parker, Olivia Collar and Grant Collar; four sisters: Audrey (Jim) McNichols, Legend Lake; RoseAnn (Jack) Wunderlich, Greenville; Charlene (Dave) Dulske, Plover; and Cathy (Dave) Kramer, Stevens Point. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides his parents, a brother Wayne precedes Keith in death.
    Funeral services for Keith will be held on Friday, May 9, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Ev. Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Matt Duin officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established.
    Keith's family would like to thank the staff at Cherry Meadows Hospice and his nurse Paula.

    Timothy W. Garvey, age 39, of Menasha, passed away Sunday, August 09, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Tim was born on February 10, 1976 to Daniel and Catherine (Collar) Garvey in Appleton. On August 8, 2009, he married Nickie DeAngelo. Tim served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing cards, fishing and golf, as well as target shooting and watching the Packers play. Tim loved spending time with his kids.
    He is survived by his wife, Nickie, daughters; Abygale, Gabriella and Isabella, sons; Isaac and William, his parents; Cathy (Dave) Kramer, siblings; Danielle (Mark) Hince, Christina Kramer and Nathan Kramer, siblings in law; Angela (David) Westphal and Michael (Jenny) DeAngelo, nieces and nephews; Maggie, Carson, Brandon, Tyler, Sophia and Henry. He is further survived by his parents in law, Ronald and Mary DeAngelo, as well as many other relatives and friends.
    A memorial service for Timothy will be held at 6:00pm, on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at New Hope Church, 1850 American Dr. Neenah with Pastor Jeff Prewitt officiating. Friends and family may call at the church from 3:00pm until the time of service Tuesday.
