    Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Lawe are both confined to the house with an attack of the grippe. Last week nine hundred and thirty four deaths occurred in Chicago mainly from the grippe. The death role in Oshkosh last week was so large that funerals had to be postponed until hacks and hearses could be secured. - Grippe is the cause.

    Obituary:
    Mrs. Catherine Lawe, who has been critically ill of late, expired Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Her death was directly traceable to a fall which she sustained a week ago, the effects of which she never recovered. Mrs. Lawe, often referred to as the "Mother of Kaukauna," was a very friendly, cheerful lady who was beloved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Lawe, twelve years ago.

    Catherine married Lawe, George William 25 Mar 1835.     Obituary:
    Funeral services for the late Leo Lawe were held at the Episcopal church at Green Bay Sunday. Burial was at Roselawn cemetery beside his mother. The body was taken by train to Green Bay at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Leo Lawe, one of Kaukauna's best known citizens, died Tuesday as the result of a fall at Milwaukee about ten days ago. The deceased was born in Green Bay.

    KAUKAUNA MAN IS DEAD AS RESULT OF FALL IN MILWAUKEE LEO LAWE DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS Kaukauna - Leo Lawe, 52 years old, prominent resident for many years, died Thursday night at his home here, following a short illness. While at Milwaukee last week, Mr. Lawe suffered a fainting spell and fell to the sidewalk, injuring his head severly. He was taken to a Milwaukee hospital, where he appeared to recover rapidly and was discharged after a fow days. Following his return home, he was again taken ill, and hemorrhages followed. He died shortly after. Funeral arrangements have not been announced. Mr. Lawe has been employed by Zekind Clothing company, south side.
