Obituary:
Marion L. Stegeman, 88, of Kaukauna, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Cherry Meadows. She was born in Kaukauna on January 27, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Juneau) Brouchek. Marion graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1940. On September 11, 1943, she married Floyd Stegeman in Philadelphia. For many years, Marion was employed at Look Drug. She was a faithful lifetime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Ladies of Holy Cross Parish. Marion was a member of St. Ann Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters and Fox Valley Golf Club. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, having had season tickets for many years. Her family was an important part of her life and she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Marion is survived by her husband: Floyd Stegeman, Kaukauna; son: Richard (Susan) Stegeman, Combined Locks; grandson: Brian (Nancy) Stegeman, Coleman; granddaughter: Lisa (David) Landig, Neenah; great-grandchildren: Katie Jo and Mitchell Stegeman; nieces: Suzanne (Rick) Vanderloop, Kaukauna and Karen (Bill) Lueders, Sheboygan; nephews: David (Kathy) Schommer, Suamico and Tom (Judy) Keil, Kaukauna and her sister-in-law: Rosemary (Willard) Keil, Kaukauna.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth (Jerome) Schommer.
The funeral liturgy for Marion will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna. Father Tom Pomeroy will be officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Holy Cross Catholic Church are appreciated.
