Obituary:
Elen Hiebel Bouressa, 87, widow of Kenneth L. Bouressa, died Monday, November 8, 2010. Born in Kimberly, WI, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Regina Van Haelst Hiebel. Mrs. Bouressa was a homemaker and member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Barter Unruh and husband, Don Unruh, of Vancouver, WA, Julie Bouressa of Salem, OR and Janet and Jack Eddy of Simpsonville; three sons and daughter-in-law, Larry Bouressa of San Antonio, TX, Jim Bouressa of Yorktown, VA, and Don and Deborah Bouressa of Nashville, TN; a sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ray Heinritz of Gresham, WI; a brother, Lee Hiebel of Henderson, NV; fourteen grandchildren, Kim DaSilva, Becky Oakes, Geoff Barter, Jake Hockett, Kalynn Hockett, Brian Eddy, Michael Eddy, Jack Eddy, Stephanie L. Hudson, Elizabeth Bouressa, Kyle Bouressa, Connor Bouressa, Hallie Bouressa and Kyle Galt; and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Joe Hiebel.
Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1209 Brushy Creek Road, Taylors, SC 29687 or Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, downtown. The funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 12, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
