Obituary:
Lyle N. Tatro, 96, Neenah, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was born on May 6, 1919, in Phlox, to the late Louis and Agnes (Narlow) Tatro. Lyle married Margaret "Peg" Puetz on October 7, 1961, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha. He served his country in WWII with the 8th Air Force in Europe on a B-17 bomber crew. Lyle was employed at American Can Company as a Machine Operator for many years. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Lyle loved everything outdoors and hunted until the age of 89 at the farm up north. He was a great bowler and enjoyed a good restaurant.
Lyle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Peg; their children: Sue Tatro and Louis (Tammy) Tatro; grandchildren: Benjamin, Nicholas and Nathan. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Elyce, Viola, Esther, Gertrude, Charles, Hugh and Dan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 26, 2016, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in a local cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Lyle's family wishes to express a warm thank you to all of his caregivers, most recently Oakridge Gardens.
