    Dorothy Ann Blackburn passed away on January 2, 2012 at the age of 91. She was born on December 26, 1920 in Racine, Wisconsin to James and Alma Hanson Kennedy. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, COL (ret) Thomas W. Blackburn Jr.; sons, Paul and John Blackburn; brothers, James and Jack Kennedy; survived by her sons, CDR (ret) Thomas W. Blackburn III, his wife Leanne and Bobby Blackburn, his wife Carrie; daughter, Lori Putt, her husband Glenn; brothers, Will and Reverend Richard Kennedy; Dorothy is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:45 a.m., Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
