Obituary:
Allen C. Schildt, 95, of the Town of Menasha, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Rennaisance Assisted Living. Allen was born on April 16, 1916, to Louis and Florence (Riggles) Schildt in Appleton. He graduated from Lawrence University in 1942 as a music major in string instruments. Allen was a charter member of the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra and an accomplished violinist in the Symphony Orchestra. He was a private music teacher.
Allen is survived by his cousins, Mildred Schildt Pardee and daughter Karen of Kaukauna, Mary Alice Kramer and her children, and special friends, Mike (Kathy) Mytas, and Tom Frances Kranzusch, other relatives and friends.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, and his special friend Pearl Mytas.
A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME at 2 p.m. with Jim Frank officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Lawrence University Scholarship fund.
The family would like to thank Rennaisance for everything they did for Allen.
