Obituary:
Orville Peter Rutter, age 84, a former Eland resident, died Friday, November 15, 1985 at the Homme Home of Wittenberg.
He was born March 4, 1901 in Kaukauna, the son of the late Peter and Helen (Dierks) Rutter.
On July 6, 1920 Orville was united in marriage to Lena Balthazor in Eland. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, Gordon Rutter, Roseburg, OR; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held November 18, 1985 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Claude Zabinski, OFM officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
