    Helen T. (Mackowiak) Petit, age 86, New London was taken peacefully and lovingly into her Lord's arms on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Helen was born on December 11, 1925, to the late John and Wilhelmina (Dillenburg) Mackowiak. On August 27, 1946, she was united in marriage to Raymond Petit. She worked at the Glove Factory in Clintonville, Don's Supper Club, Hortonville Canning Factory and was a farmer and homemaker. Helen was involved in the Liberty Homemakers Club and was a volunteer at the New London Hospital. She was a devoted member of the Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Her passions were gardening (a flower nut as she would say), baking (the cookie jar was always full for anyone who stopped by), crafting, and dancing to Polka music.
    Helen is survived by her daughters: Lunette (Mike) Pohlman, New London; Lea (Jim) Walters, Hortonville; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Petit, New London; sons: Lyle (special friend, Marcia Hertzfeldt), New London; Leon Petit, New London and Luke (Brenda) Petit, Appleton. Eleven grandchildren: Jeff (Chris), Jerry (special friend, Rhonda), Tina (Curt), Terry, Emily, Adele, Sarah, Sharon (Jarrod), Amber (Chris), Tyler and Patricia. Seven great-grandchildren, Cole, Dillon, Mariah, Owen, Ava, Ella and Isabel. Two brothers, Jim Mackowiak, and Ervin (Rose) Mackowiak. Three sister-in-laws, Luella Van Vonderen, Ann Petit and Lois Petit.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond, daughter Patsy, son Larry, a brother John, a great-grandson Ethan, mother and father in-law, and several brothers and sisters in-law.
    Funeral Mass for Helen will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. and also at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

    John F. Mackowiak, age 79, of Manawa passed away Sat, Sept. 22, 2007 after a short illness. He was born May 26th, 1928 in Embarrass, WI son of John, Sr. & Wilhelmina (Dillenburg) Mackowiak. He farmed with his twin brother until 1959 when he purchased his own in Manawa and farmed until 1989. During retirement he enjoyed watching sports, hobby farming, woodworking, gardening & spending time with his family. He was an active member in the Knights of Columbus, Waupaca Farm Bureau, was a member of the Waupaca County Fair Board, and was a long-standing member of the St Patrick's Parish where he was secretary/treasurer of the St. Patrick's Cemetery for many years. John is survived by his wife of 52 yrs. Helen (Peeters) Mackowiak, Manawa, a son David Mackowiak, Manawa; daughters Donna (Trent) Ellifson, Strum; Linda (Don) Sanderfoot; Appleton, Jo Ann Mackowiak (Bill Dain), Hortonville; Kris (Peter) Thompson, Manawa; sister Helen (Mackowiak) Petit, New London; twin-brother James & Dorothy Mackowiak, Clintonville; Ervin & Rosie Mackowiak, seven grand-children Ben Upward, Tacoma, WA; Tim Upward, Eau Claire; Theresa (Sanderfoot) & Jonathon Stevens, Oklahoma City, OK; Carl Sanderfoot, Appleton & Jessica, Allison & Alex Thompson, Manawa. The funeral Mass for John will be held on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in the Town of Lebanon, with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Lally officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa on Sunday from 4-8p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.     Lawrence R. "Larry" Petit, 61, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Jan. 8, 2011. Larry was born on March 13, 1949, to Raymond and Helen (Mackowiak) Petit. On June 6, 1970, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Reinhardt. He worked for Larsen Co-op for 37 years, Equity Livestock for 41 years, and auctioneered for numerous types of auctions and sales.
    Larry is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, Jeff (Chris) Petit, New London; Jerry Petit (special friend, Rhonda Sasman), New London; a daughter, Tina (Curt) Rush, New London; four grandchildren, Cole, Dillon, Mariah and Owen; mother, Helen Petit, New London; three brothers, Lyle (special friend, Marcia Hertzfeldt), New London; Leon Petit, New London; and Luke (Brenda) Petit, Appleton; two sisters, Lunette (Mike) Pohlman, New London; and Lea (Jim) Walters, Hortonville; three sisters in-law, Sharon (Daral) Steiger, Weyauwega; Phyllis Reinhardt, Pennsylvania; and Joyce Genske, Fremont; brother in-law, Joe Wedelstadt, Hortonville; many nieces, nephews, special friends, Breakfast Table; and very special friends, Tom and Sally McCormick.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; sister, Patricia; grandson, Ethan Rush; father and mother in-law, Franklin and Caroline Reinhardt; sister in-law, Yvonne Wedelstadt; and a brother in-law, Louis Genske.
    Funeral services for Larry will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with the Rev. Brian Hennig officiating. Burial will be in the Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Visitation will be held on Monday at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Rasor, nurse Kathy, and staff. Dr. Bar-lev, Amy, Jen and staff and also ThedaCare Hospice.
