    Obituary:
    Lowell L. Ciesielczyk, 77, Howard, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, at his home in his sleep. He was born May 12, 1930, in Green Bay, to Stanley and Esther (Klarner) Ciesielczyk. Lowell graduated from Green Bay West High School in the Class of 1948. After school, he joined the U.S. Navy and served for 20 years earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer. On Dec. 15, 1958, Lowell was united in marriage to Genevieve Wosnig in Milwaukee. After returning from service, Lowell began a 17-year career with the Post Office where he was known as "Chief." He retired in 1985. Lowell enjoyed many sports and especially enjoyed fishing. Throughout his battle with cancer, he showed he was a great survivor and brave to the end. Lowell was a member of the D.A.V. Russell Leicht Chapter 3.
    He is survived by his wife of more than 48 years, Genevieve "Jean," a son, Arthur G. Ciesielczyk, a stepson, Robert (Kathy) Wosnig, all of Green Bay; a stepdaughter, Faith ("Skip") Gerondale, Marathon, Fla.; five grandchildren, Mike, Paul (Megan) and Ryan Wosnig, Tyler and Brianna Wosnig; two great-grandchildren, Kiefer and Keira Victoria; two brothers, Merle (Bernice) Klarner, Donald (Jean) Klarner; one sister, Carol Ann (John) Melendy; his special neighbors, David and Ruth Christophersen, Don and Ann Benedyk.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerry Klarner and Laverne L. Ciesielczyk.
    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Toyne officiating.
    A special thank you goes to all the neighbors and friends who helped out through the years. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses of Green Bay Oncology for all their care and help.
    In lieu of flowers or plants, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
