    Oliver, age 90, of Appleton, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011, following a short illness. He was born September 5, 1920, in Breed, WI, son of the late Benjamin and Ida (Lemke) Miller. He married Sylvia Koehn September 18, 1943, in Beloit, WI, sharing 67 years together. He worked for Charles O'Green Construction for 20 years and retired in 1982.
    Oliver was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He served in the Army during WWII. He always enjoyed woodworking, traveling and camping.
    He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; a daughter: Sherry Reitz, Waupaca; a son and daughter-in-law: Ben and Lynn Miller, Kaukauna; a sister Mabel Everson, Beloit; a daughter-in-law: Sue Miller, Kaukauna; five grandchildren: Tim (Tammi) Miller; Jason Miller; Melissa (Chad) Cummings; Jenny (Mark) Bock and Pam (Dave) Fullmer; Four great-grandchildren: Paige Rueden-Allen; Hayli Cummings; Gavin Cummings and Mckayla Bock.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Robert, three brother and two sisters.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 2220 E. College Ave., with Rev. Tim Seabaugh officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah. The visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Theda Care Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.

    Robert L. "Bob" Miller, Kaukauna, age 61, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born June 10, 1947 in Beloit, WI, son of Ollie and Sylvia (Koehn) Miller. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in The Vietnam War. On May 13, 1972, he was united in marriage to Susan M. Goerl. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Bob also loved gardening, working with his apple trees, and playing with his grandchildren.
    Bob is survived by his wife, Sue; his parents: Ollie and Sylvia Miller; a son, Jason, Kaukauna; a daughter, Missy (Chad) Cummings, Kaukauna; two grandchildren: Hayli and Gavin Cummings; a brother, Ben (Lynn) Miller, Kaukauna; a sister, Sherry Reitz, Waupaca; mother-in-law, Ceil Goerl; two brothers-in-law: David "Whitey" Goerl and Dan (Diane) Goerl; two sisters-in-law: Dot (Lee) Hackel and Jan (Leon) Propson. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
    Bob was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roger Goerl.
    Memorial Service for Bob will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, with Rev. Keller of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Robert married Goerl, Susan M. 13 May 1972. Susan (daughter of Goerl, Roger and Heimermann, Cecilia) was born 8 Nov 1948; died 5 Jun 2016, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
