Obituary:
Kelly A. Marquardt, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010. Kelly was born on April 22, 1963, daughter of Norman and Patricia (Kinney) Marquardt. She attended New London High School and graduated from Crandon High School in 1981. Kelly attended Gill Tech for Cosmetology.
She loved photography and working as a stylist. She found her love of music at age eight, she enjoyed playing country music in the family band and also played in many other bands. Kelly touched many hearts and anyone that met her once would never forget her.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Marquardt; a son, Dayne (fiancee, Brandy), Monnot; three brothers, Douglas Marquardt, Timothy Marquardt (special friend, Katie), and Jody (Amy) Marquardt; a sister, Candia Lick; her grandchildren, Destiny and Cordelia Monnot; nieces and nephews, Jeremy (Alissa) Lick, Jacob (fiancee, Kristin) Lick, Joseph Lick, Ely Marquardt, and Amber and Ryan. She is also survived by her dog, Gracie.
She is preceded in death by her father, Norman Marquardt; and Annie, her white Shepard.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton. Funeral services for Kelly will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at 12 Noon at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Shiocton with the Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Friends may gather again Thursday one hour prior to services.
