Dalke, age 78, of Seymour passed away Thursday afternoon, September 11, 2008 at King Veterans Home. He was born March 5, 1930 in Appleton son of the late Henry and Nioma (Schroeder Krueger) Dalke. On April 15, 1954 he was united in marriage to Lois Limberg in Kaukauna. Marvin was a Korean Army Veteran and was employed at Pauly Cheese and later Provimi until his retirement. He was a member of Seymour United Methodist Church and a member of the Seymour American Legion. Marvin was an avid hunter, fisherman, and wood carver and enjoyed time spent in his woods up north. Survivors include his wife Lois; sons: Mark (Patricia) Dalke, Suamico, David (Nancy) Dalke, Freedom, LaMont (special friend Sarah) Dalke, Appleton; one daughter Daun VanDen Heuvel, Freedom; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Floyd (Martha) Dalke, Seymour, Dennis (Shirley) Krueger, Appleton. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers David and Kenneth, and 1 sister Donna Piro. Friends may call at Seymour United Methodist Church from 10 AM Monday, September 15, 2008 until funeral services at 12 noon with Pastor Rebecca Henry officiating. Military rites will follow at the church. Burial will be in the Seymour City Cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
