    Obituary:
    Jerome J. Sigl, 81, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton. He was born in Appleton on Dec. 23, 1925, to William and Marie (Kuehne) Sigl. Jerry graduated from Shiocton High School class of 1944. In June of 1946, he enlisted in the Air Force was discharged in July of 1949. He married Erma Voeks Jan. 5, 1957, in Appleton, she passed away in November of 1972. In 1973, Jerry married Mary Wingrove-Lausman. They enjoyed 30 years together until Mary passed away in August of 2003. Jerry was a generous giving person, who would do anything for anyone. He loved his God, his country and his family and friends. Getting together with family and friends was one of Jerry's greatest enjoys. He enjoyed playing cards, and games, watching sports, reading, and seeing the country. To sit by John's fire pit during any given evening was a great pleasure to him, he had a very special relationship with his step-son, John and wife, Gretchen.
    Jerome is survived by three step-children, Tom (Babs) Lausman, Mackville; John (Gretchen) Lausman, Chillicothe, Ohio; Kathy (Terry) Hurley, Combined Locks; grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Bruss, Chad (Jamie) Lausman, Allison (Patrick) Rusch, Joseph (Jodi) Hurley, Bryan Lausman, Willie Lausman, Mary Lausman; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cyril (Yvonne) Sigl, Shiocton; Clement Sigl, Neenah; a sister; Gladys Wry, Seymour and a sister-in-law, Dorothy LaRue.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wilber and Norbert Sigl and a sister, Irene Schnabl.
    A memorial mass will be held at St Bernadette's Catholic church Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Service.
    The family would like to thank the ladies at Century Oaks for the care they gave to Jerry.
    Jerry never complained about the sadness in his life. He knew that his God was with him and would carry him through. He was a wonderful man.

    Gladys D. Wry, 87, of Black Creek, passed away early Friday morning, December 11, 2015 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. She was born January 23, 1928 daughter of the late William and Marie (Klitzke) Sigl. On October 6, 1951, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Wry. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1987.
    Gladys was a cook at Black Creek Elementary School for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Black Creek where she was the head cook in the kitchen for various church events and was also involved as a CCD teacher. She also was a member of the Vicariate and St. Vincent DePaul. Gladys was a member of the Black Creek American Legion Auxillary.
    She is survived by her children: Barbara Wry, Council Grove, KS; William (Jodi) Wry, Black Creek; Brenda Wry (Dan) Wochinski, New London; grandson, Andrew (Amy) Wry, Black Creek; and 2 great-granddaughters: Adalyn and Amelia.
    Gladys is preceded in death by her 5 brothers: Clem, Jerome, Norbert, Wilbur, and Cyril; and a sister, Irene Schnabl.
    Friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Black Creek on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 9:30 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Theodore Hendricks officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com

    Cyril "Cy" Robert Sigl, age 78, of Shiocton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at New London Family Medical Center. Cy was born in the Town of Black Creek on November 4, 1929, son of the late William and Marie (Kuehne) Sigl. He worked at Olsen "C.W. Transport" as a truck driver for most of his life, and then at Curwood until his retirement. Cy loved going out to eat and playing solitaire. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton.
    He is survived by his wife Yvonne (La Marche) Sigl; his children: Randall W. Sigl, (special friend Carin Hellman); Sarah (Bruce) Stephani; their mother Ila Mae (Storma) Weyenberg; his grandchildren: Brock Sigl and Megan (Jared) (Stephani) Johnson; a brother, Clement "Clem" Sigl; and a sister, Gladys Wry; stepchildren: Cindy (Jean) Besaw; Kathy (Jim) Wilson; Mike (Cheryl) Beyer; Jeffrey (Susan) Beyer; David Beyer; and Steven (Carla) Beyer. He is further survived by step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides his parents, Cy is preceded in death by his wife Jean Handrich; a step son, Paul Beyer; a sister, Irene Schnabl; brothers, Norbert "Nub," Jerome, and Wilbur "Web."
    A Memorial service for Cy will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at 5 p.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton with Fr. John Kastenholtz and Sr. Pauline Feiner cocelebrating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
