    Obituary:
    Elvin Francis Norder, King Veteran's Home, formerly of Bear Creek, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2006, at the age of 85. He was born on November 25, 1920, to Maurice and Agnes (Ritchie) Norder. He married Dorothy Blanche Fuhrman on January 10, 1949, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek. Elvin proudly served his country with the Army during World War II. He was also a life long member of the Clintonville Lion's Club, the American Legion and the VFW. He was employed with the Four Wheel Drive in Clintonville, retiring at age 56. Elvin owned and ran Norder's Bar in Bear Creek from 1964 until it's closing in 1974. Elvin enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, pool and cribbage.
    Elvin is survived by his eight children: Connie (Mike) Hackett, Appleton, Daniel (Paula) Norder, Bear Creek, David Norder and (Barb Yaeger), Clintonville, Wanda (Douglas) Bowden, Fremont, Mary (Richard) Bowden, Waupaca, Sue Williams, Appleton, Alice (David) Ehrenberg, Manawa and Maurice (Debra) Norder, Caroline. He is further survived by his two sisters; Stella (Norder) and Robert Greely, Green Bay, Ellen (Norder) and the late Walter Babino, Clarkston, Washington, nineteen grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Norder, Bear Creek, his parents, Maurice and Agnes Norder, Clintonville, one grandchild, Douglas Bowden Jr., Fremont, two brothers; Milton and Ralph and one sister, Rita Norder, Texas.
    The funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek

    Elvin married Fuhrmann, Dorothy Blanche 10 Jan 1949. Dorothy (daughter of Fuhrmann, Walter Gerhardt and Burton, Georgianna) was born 8 Mar 1923, Maine, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 5 May 1983, New London, Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Alice M. Ehrenberg, age 57, of Manawa, WI passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in New London, WI on August 10, 1959, the daughter of the late Elvin and Dorothy (Fuhrman) Norder. On July 9, 1988, Alice married David Ehrenberg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupaca. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School for 25 years. She loved watching her hummingbirds, playing card games, doing jig-saw puzzles, reading, knitting & crocheting, making hats for other cancer patients and visiting with friends and family. She loved helping others, especially making them smile and was an avid wolf lover. Most of all, she had an unconditional love for her children. Alice is survived by her husband: David Ehrenberg, Manawa; her daughters: Katrina (Gaylin Greetan II) Ehrenberg, Waupaca; Ciara (Peter Amador) Ehrenberg, Waupaca and Skyonna (Dakota Timm) Ehrenberg, Manawa; her siblings: Connie Hackett, Appleton; Dan (Paula) Norder, Bear Creek; David (Jennifer Reilly) Norder, Ripon; Wanda (Doug) Bowden, Fremont; Mary (Rick) Bowden, Neenah; Sue Williams, Appleton and Maurice (Debra) Norder, Caroline; her brother-in-law: Dan (Beverly) Ehrenberg, Waupaca; her sister-in-law: Jean (John) Tessen, Etowah, TN and her mother-in-law: Eva Ehrenberg, Waupaca. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin & Dorothy Norder, her father & mother-in-law, Clarence & Cecelia Ehrenberg, a nephew, Doug Bowden Jr and a brother-in-law, Mike Hackett. A Memorial Gathering will be on Thursday, June 1 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca. Per Alice's wishes, there will be no funeral services following the memorial gathering. Holly Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
