    HAROLD W. THIES 213 N.Bennett St. Age 56, passed away unexpectedly at 1:15 p.m., Saturday. He was born May 24, 1907 in Appleton. He was an employee of the United States Postal Department; a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church; the Holy Name Society and a veteran of World War II..
    Mr Thies is survived by his wife Madeline (nee) Piette; his mother Mrs. Louis Thies; one daughter, Mary Jo, at home; two brothers, Geroge and John, both of Appleton; two sisters, Mrs. L. J. Neyens and Mrs. H. Whichmaann, both of Dubuque, Iowa..
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Internment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Monday. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home..
