Marlene "Kim" C. Hoheisel
With unwavering faith, Marlene Hoheisel, age 76, of Menasha, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long courageous fight on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Parkside Care Center. She was born on May 4, 1938 in Little Chute, to the late Urban and Delores (Verkuilen) Van Daalwyk. On October 8, 1958, Marlene married her high school sweetheart John Hoheisel. She enjoyed her schooling in Cosmetology and working as a beautician in salons, and later in floral design. Kim used every opportunity to be a witness for Christ by always ministering and caring for others.
She is survived by her children: Mark (Kristi) Hoheisel of Menasha, Laurie (Ian) Journeaux of Plover, Amy (Kevin) Walbrun of Grafton, Eileen (Kraig) Otto of Menasha, Christine (Dale) Wittmann of Appleton, and Heidi (Christian) Weiland of Menasha; 16 grandchildren: Matthew (Maria) Hoheisel, Christopher (fiancé Melissia) Hoheisel, Zachary Hoheisel and Samuel Hoheisel; William Journeaux and Daniel Journeaux; Rebecca (Michael) Walter, Kaylee Walbrun and Alexander Walbrun; Corey, Ashley, and Ryan Otto; Austin Wittmann and Chase Wittmann; Ethan Weiland and Haden Weiland; two great grandsons Benjamin and Lucas Walter; and brother Allan (Jean) Van Daalwyk. Marlene is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother Cecelia (Melcher) Van Daalwyk, husband John, and grandson Kraig Walbrun.
The memorial service for Marlene will be held at 6:30 pm on Monday, March 9, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Rev. Joe Pullen will be officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 4:00 pm until the time of service. She lived and believed Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
