    Donald D. Burton, 89, passed away on February 27, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veteran's Home in King, Wisconsin. Donald was born on August 19, 1925 in the Town of St. Lawrence to Edward and Fern (Goman) Burton. He served his country from 1943 to 1945 as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the South Pacific. On September 11, 1948 he married the former Dolores Jager in Wrightstown, Wisconsin and she preceded him in death on February 12, 2013. Their marriage was blessed with nine children. Donald was employed for 41 years with Repap, retiring on January 7, 1988. Donald was an active member of St. Nicholas Catholic Parish. He was also a member of the VFW Post 7692 in Freedom and a Boy Scout Leader. Don's passion in life was his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He also was an avid gardener.
    Donald will be sadly missed by: seven children: Ed (Kay) Burton, William (Gloria) Burton, Gary Burton, Joan (Bob) Grode, Wendy (Dave) Stern, Randy (Jodi) Burton and Mark Burton; 14 grandchildren: Christi (Mike); Sarah; Erin (Adam); Matthew (Sue); Michael; Jake; Natasha; Tara; Caleb; Emily; Alex; Sam; Jason; Claire, 6 great-grandchildren: Aminah; Amaya; Brady; Jazelle: Ava; Veronica; siblings: Jim (Daneka) Leonard (Kay) sisters-in-law: Germaine Croell; Catherine (special friend Dick) Janssen; Vione (Ken) Pomeroy; Arlene (Jack) Weyenberg, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
    He was preceded in death by: his wife Dolores; two sons: Donald David Jr. and infant Robert Lee, his parents, his step-father Cleveland Guyette; siblings: Helen (Ben) Banker; Earl Burton; Clayton (Sue) Burton; Francis "Howard" (Ione) Burton; Lois (Hank) Leeman; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; infant Grace Marie; Geneva Jager; Merlin (Alice) Jager; Joseph Janssen; Frances (Melvin) Heiting; Dolores's parents Francis and Delia Jager.
    Funeral Liturgy will be at 12:00 pm Wednesday March 4, 2015 at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, W2037 County Road S, Freedom, with Father Walter Stumpf officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will take place at the parish cemetery.
    The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at the Wisconsin Veterans Home, MacArthur Hall, for the awesome care given to Don.

    Obituary:
    James Darrell Guyette, age 82, loving husband and great dad, of Shiocton, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was born on June 26, 1935 to the late Cleveland and Fern (Goman) Guyette in the Town of Maple Creek. He was united in marriage to Deneka Brown on October 12, 1954. Jim loved his family and his church and was a devoted lifetime member of St. Denis Parish. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing cards and having breakfast with his buddies. Jim was a passionate gardener and was the creator of Jim Dandy Maple Syrup. He worked for many years at the Neenah Foundry and Bay Area Castings and was also proud to be the Town of Maine Chairman.
    Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Deneka; his children, Lynne Pettit, Dan Guyette, Mary (Dick) Clausen, Patrick (Mary Beth) Guyette, Sally (Russell) Affeldt, Jane (David) Trosin, Jill (Neal) Krohlow; grandchildren, Lycretia, Adrianna, Janelle, Alex, Fred, Hannah, Josh, Natalie, Nash, Jennah, Isaac, Adam, Mary, Grace, Samuel, Bridget and Joseph; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Kay) Guyette; in-laws, Germaine Croell, Nancy Allen, Russell (Diana) Brown, David (Pat) Brown and Lee Beattie. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
    Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Dave Pettit.
    A memorial service for Jim will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Shiocton. Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service directly at the church on Saturday.
    The family wishes to thank Affinity Hospice for all of their care and concern of Jim.
