    Heinz, Anna M. Appleton Age 93, joined her Husband and Great Granddaughter on Saturday, April 13, 2002. Born March 21, 1909 in the Village of Black Creek to Nicholas and Theresa (Heigl) Helein. On November 16, 1927 she was united in marriage to Claude Heinz. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1961.
    She is survived by two sons, Robert (Marie) Heinz and Claude (Carol) Heinz, Appleton; two daughters: Delores "Dee" (Gerald) Captain, Appleton; Shirley (Ronald) Dollevoet, Florida; 19 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, two step Great Granddaughters and two Great Grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Elenora VanToll, Kimberly; a Brother-in-law, Emil Kuba, Appleton; and many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by four brothers: Frank, Nickalas, John & William Helein; two sisters: Theresa Nieland and Mary Wieland; one Great Granddaughter, Michelle.
    According to Anna's wishes, Private services will be held at the Valley Funeral Home with her loving children, grandchildren and great grand children in attendance. The family would like to thank all the care givers at Care Partners in Little Chute especially Rhonda, (Her I-L-O-V-E You) Friend.

    Appleton - Robert C. Heinz, 89, of Appleton died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born in Appleton, March 29, 1928, son of the late Claude Sr. and Anna (Helein) Heinz. Robert married Marie Will on April 23, 1954.
    Robert served his country in the U.S. Navy at the end of WWII aboard the USS Antietam. He worked at Kimberly Clark and was a member of the Breakfast Optimist Club of the Fox Valley Robert sold ice cream from the "Red Bus" throughout the Fox Valley for many years. He took great pride in puttering with and manicuring his lawn to perfection. He enjoyed attending the Farmers Market. Roberts greatest enjoyment came from the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Robert is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie; his nine children: Jim, Appleton, Julianne (John) Spanjers, Rosemount, MN, Joel (CrystalRose), Appleton, John, Appleton, Jeanine (Mike) Main, Dale, Jeffery (Ann Marie), Menasha, Jennifer Boyle, Neenah, Jay (Lisa), Appleton, and Jerry, Appleton; 19 grandchildren: Nicole, James, Valerie, Patrick, Spencer (Caitlin), Lauren (Kyle), Trevor, Noel, Mitchell, Garrett, Anthony, Sara (Brad), Steven (Jessica), Sean (Stacy), Jasper, Austen, Rosalyn, Elizabeth and Violet; seven great grandchildren: Aireanna, Baylyn, Kaleb, Ann Marie, David, Maddie, Aubrey, and Tiana; He is further survived by two sisters: Dee (Gerald) Captain, Appleton and Shirley (Ronald) Dollevoet, Florida. Robert was further preceded in death by his son, Jody and a brother, Claude Jr.
    In keeping with his wishes, a private family service for Robert will be held.
    Robert's family would like to extend a special thank you to the Appleton Fire Department First Responders, Gold Cross Ambulance, and the entire staff at both St. Elizabeth Hospital ER and ICU, especially Joe, Kyle and Diane, for all of the care and compassion shown.

    On March 1, 2010, Claude went to his eternal home. He died in the arms of his loving family, after a seventeen month illness. Claude was born on Christmas Day, 1930, son of the late Claude and Anna (Helein) Heinz of Appleton. He attended high school in Appleton, and on August 7, 1954, married the former Carol Pagel. Their fifty-five year marriage was blessed with two sons, Mike and Greg. Claude was employed for forty years by the Kimberly Clark Corporation where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He retired on January 1, 1990. In his younger years, he was an accomplished ice skater and received many awards. He also enjoyed roller skating. Over the years he was also involved in the WELS Boy Pioneer program, as well as ushering at church. Claude was a "master tinkerer", and his favorite hobby was working on older cars, fixing just about anything, and woodworking. He also enjoyed polka music. He was also an avid fan of the Packers and Badgers, rarely missing a game.
    He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years: Carol Heinz of Appleton; two sons: Mike Heinz and Greg Heinz, both of Appleton; a brother: Robert (Marie) Heinz of Appleton; two sisters: Dee (Jerry) Captain of Appleton and Shirley (Ron) Dollevoet of Florida; a sister-in-law: Jan (Don) Laabs of Beaver Dam, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Claude was preceded in death by his parents and by Carol's parents Otto and Adeline Pagel. Claude will be greatly missed by his loving family.
    The Christian Funeral for Claude will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at ST. MATTHEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 129 S. Mason Street in Appleton with Rev. Thomas Mielke officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Thursday morning from 9:30 AM until the hour of the service.
    Carol, Mike, and Greg would like to thank all of Claude's physicians and nurses who took such great care of him during his illness. Thanks also to each of the caregivers from ThedaCare At Home, whose special care and concern permitted Claude to remain at his own home.
