    Hebeler, Joseph G.Joseph G. “Joe” Hebeler, age 90, a lifelong resident of Appleton, died Oct ober 15, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 1 8, 1914, the son of the late Joseph and Edna (Van Heuklon) Hebeler. Joe w as united in marriage to Adrienne “Sis” Reider on April 18, 1936, shari ng 60 years together. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Joe w as employed by the Appleton Wire Works, as a weaver, for 42 years. He enjo yed baseball, golf, tennis, bowling and especially spending time with h is family at their summer cottage on Shawano Lake. After retirement Joe de voted much of his time to St. Joseph Food Pantry. On April 28, 2003, he w as recognized for 20 years of service to the food pantry. In July of 20 00 Joe proudly received an Honorary Citizen award from Mayor Hanna for bei ng a registered voter since 1939. Joe loved to tell a joke and was lov ed by everyone who knew him.He will be deeply missed by his two sons and daughters-in-law: Richard a nd Paula Hebeler of Appleton and Roland and Mary Hebeler of Menasha; fi ve grandchildren: Jody (Joe) Steele of Commerce, MI., Jennifer (Jay) Rando lph of Minneapolis, MN., Jeff Hebeler and his fiancee, Jessica Fry, of Bou lder, CO., Sarah and Nicholas Hebeler both of Menasha; two great grandso ns Brendan and Nikolaas Steele; a brother Lawrence (June) Hebeler of Menas ha; brother-in-law Tom Marquart of Oshkosh; sister-in-law Eunice Reid er of Kimberly; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Ad rienne “Sis” Reider on September 21, 1996; sister-in-law Audrey Marquar t; brothers-in-law Tom and Elmer Reider.The Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Satu rday, October 23, 2004, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 404 W.     Lawrence J. Hebeler, of Menasha, age 85, died on February 15, 2005, at his home. He was born in Neenah on April 25, 1919 to the late Joseph and Edna (VanHeuklon) Hebeler. On June 14, 1941 he married June Hamer. Lawrence was a member of First English Lutheran Church.
    He is survived by his wife: June; children: Larry Hebeler of Appleton; Pat (Steve) Schmidt of Hazelhurst, Wisconsin; Joan Hebeler of Appleton; Linda (Richard) Bushman of Appleton; Mary (Mark) Boelter of Appleton; Jim, John and Bob Hebeler all of Menasha; three grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe (Sis) Hebeler.

    Jeanne L. Funk, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer. Jeanne was born on December 21, 1941, in Appleton, daughter of the late Orville and Amy (Umland) Tornow. She graduated from Appleton High School in 1960. On August 26, 1962, she married Mike Funk at First English Lutheran Church in Appleton. Jeanne worked as an administrative assistant for Appleton Coated Paper, AT&T (formerly Wisconsin Bell and Ameritech), and Rawhide Boys Ranch before retiring in the mid-1990s. Jeanne loved the outdoors, tending to her gardens, birds, and wildlife. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially cooking holiday meals for her family. She also took part in helping with the turkey dinners at church. Jeanne was a faithful member of First English Lutheran Church in Appleton, and most recently of First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg and volunteered her time to them. She also loved reading and participating in Iola Water Aerobics, which she greatly enjoyed. Jeanne was a very selfless woman, always putting others before herself. She will be deeply missed by her entire family and her friends.
    Jeanne is survived by her husband, Mike; two sons: Rob and Steve Funk; a brother, Roger (Kay) Tornow; sisters-in-law: Janice (Larry) Babcock, and Jean Funk; nephews: Todd, Scott, Blaine, Matt, and Brad; nieces, Becky, Martha, and Sarah; her very good friends: Sandy and Gerald Herrmann, Corrine and Mal Johnson, and Judy and the late Bary Hein; and her "honey bunches," her dog and grand-dog, Ginger and Molly.
    She was further preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Richard Funk.
    A memorial service for Jeanne will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 700 Main St., Ogdensburg, 54962, with Rev. Tim Lofgren officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening at church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. A private inurnment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Memorial contributions in Jeanne's name may be made to the Building Fund at First Lutheran Church in Ogdensburg.
    The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the 7th floor doctors, nurses, and staff at Appleton Medical Center for their care, compassion, and support.

    On Wednesday, August 3, 2016, Rollie Hebeler left for a place that we can only dream and believe in. Rollie was born on December 10, 1946 in Appleton to the late Joseph G. and Adrienne (Reider) Hebeler. He graduated from Xavier High School in Appleton in 1965 and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1970. Rollie married Mary Golueke on November 27, 1971.
    Rollie began his career in music in 1970 when he accepted the position of Choral Director and Church Organist at St. Mary Catholic Parish in Menasha. In 1977, Rollie began his career with the Menasha School District as Director of the Music Department where he worked until his retirement in 2002. Rollie retired from his many roles and responsibilities at St. Mary Catholic Parish in Menasha in 2015. He also served as a board member and secretary for the NEW-AGO chapter and for ten years served as director and accompanist to the Chaminade Women's Chorus. Rollie loved music, he spent his work time and free time pursuing his love through countless choirs, organizations and groups that are too extensive to list. He also cherished his time he spent relaxing at the lake with his family.
    Rollie is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Hebeler; children: Sarah Hebeler and Nick Hebeler; brother: Richard (Paula) Hebeler; brothers-in-law: Charles W. Golueke and Mark (Ann) Golueke. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    Rollie was preceded in death by his parents, along with his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Juel Golueke; brothers-in-law: Robert and Greg Golueke.
    The memorial mass for Rollie will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH (528 Second St., Menasha) with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2016 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME LAEMMRICH CHAPEL and again at church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Rollie's name.
    Rollie's family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Heartland Hospice and Dr. Goggins team at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology for the care given to Rollie. Thank you to Fr. Paul Paider and the staff at St. Mary Menasha for the support and kindness. Also, thank you to the many choir members, friends and colleagues for the love and friendship.

    Bushman, Linda M.
    Linda M. Bushman, age 58, of Oshkosh, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Linda was born September 1, 1950, in Appleton, the daughter of June (Hamer) Hebeler, Menasha, and the late Larry Hebeler. She was a Fox Valley resident all of her life, and enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, listening to the Beatles, and taking road trips with her son, Matt.
    Survivors include her mother, June; her son, Matthew (Kristy) Hebeler, Neenah; granddaughter, Mya Hebeler; and grandson, Alex Gering; seven sisters and brothers: Pat (Steve) Schmidt, Hazelhurst, Joan Hebeler, Mary (Mark) Boelter, and Larry Hebeler, all of Appleton; Jim Hebeler, John Hebeler, and Bob Hebeler, all of Menasha; two nephews: Greg (Dawn) Schmidt, and their daughters, Olivia and Addison, and Tony (Nici) Schmidt.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Larry.
    Private family services were held at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Memorials in Linda's name may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 3311 So. Packerland Dr., De Pere, WI, 54115.
