Obituary:
Rose M. (Zahringer) Hemauer, age 79, of N4279 Highway 55, Stockbridge, died on Wednesday January 24, 2007, at her home in Stockbridge. She was born on December 18, 1927, in Sherwood, daughter of the late Nicholas and Amelia (Puetz) Zahringer. She married Arthur Hemauer on November 5, 1949, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge, the Christian Mothers, and had served on the parish council.
Survivors include her husband Arthur; six children: Dennis (Linda) Hemauer of Fond du Lac; Anthony (Lourdes) Hemauer of Puerto Rico; Eugene (Kay) Hemauer of Greenville; Janice (Wayne) Marose of Chilton; Jill Writt of Seymour, and fiance Jim Nelson of Appleton; Amy (Robert) Holzer of Combined Locks; five grandchildren: Michael Marose, Mac, Mitchell, and Emily Writt, Sarah Hemauer; two sisters: Anita Hemauer of West Bend; Alvina (Art) Campbell of Hilbert; two brothers: Clarence Zahringer of Sherwood; Irvin Zahringer of Sherwood; four sisters-in-law: Catherine Zahringer of Sherwood; Margaret Daun of New Holstein; Chris Hemauer of Phoenix, AZ.; Mary Criter of Chilton; three brothers-in-law: Charles (Joan) Hemauer of Waukesha; Willard (Mary) Hemauer of Stockbridge; David (Marlene) Hemauer of Appleton; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers: Leo, Walter, & Roman Zahringer; a sister Ann Zahringer; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mabel Zahringer, Al Hemauer, Art Daun, Earl "Jack" Hemauer, and Don Criter.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge with the Rev. Kenneth Frozena officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and again at the church in Stockbridge from 12:30 until the time of services.
