    Frank Yingling, 906 Desnoyer St. Kaukauna; Age 77, died at 3:30 at home, Wednesday morning, aft er a lingering illness. He was born December 4, 1891 in Kaukauna and w as a lifelong resident of Kaukauna. He was employed at Thilmany Pulp and P aper Company until his retirement in 1956. He was a member of the Holy Na me Society of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Survivors are his wife, Mary; o ne daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Kennedy, Appleton and five sons, Orville and Fra ncis, Appleton; Donald and James, Kaukauna; Norbert, Omaha: Nebraska; t wo sisters Mrs. Gertrude: Heinz, DeLand, FL. Mrs. Albert (Theresa) Schieff elbein, Kaukauna; 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will held at 11 a. m. Friday moning from the Holy Cross Catholic Church, with burial in the p arish cemetery.

    Ernstena A. Behling, "Stena," 84, Combined Locks, died Sunday morning, March 18, 2007, following a courageous battle with lung disease. She was born March 17, 1923, to the late Nicholas and Agnes (Yingling) Lom, in Combined Locks, where she was a resident all of her life. Stena enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, painting and other crafts.
    She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister and is survived by her loving husband, Raymond A. Behling, to whom she had been married for 56 years; three sons, Jeffrey Behling, Combined Locks; Douglas Behling, Little Chute; Todd Behling and special friend, Kay, Little Chute; five grandchildren, Traci (Mike) Schuh, Benji (Ann) Behling, Linsey, Nick, special friend, Heather and Amber (Andy) O'Connor; two great-grandchildren, Conner and Olivia Schuh; three sisters, Gretchen (Robert) Biese, Combined Locks; Betty (Glen) Aerts, Kimberly; Ione Jansen, Combined Locks.
    She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred, Rodrick and Clifford Lom, and four sisters, Johanna Siegle, Rachel Jansen, Barbara DeCoster and Lorraine Jansen.
    The funeral liturgy for Ernstena will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007, at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 East Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Father Jim Lucas and Father Bob Vandenberg officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, and on Wednesday, at the church from 10 a.m., until the time of the Mass. A parish prayer and scripture service will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday. A memorial fund is being established.

    Getchen Biese, 84, Combined Locks, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 15, 2010, at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute. Gretchen was born in Combined Locks, on October 31, 1925, daughter of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Yingling) Lom, one of the founding families of the Village of Combined Locks. She was a 1943 graduate of St. John High School in Little Chute, and on April 11, 1953, she married Robert H. Biese in Combined Locks.
    Gretchen enjoyed flower gardening, baking, cooking, knitting, crocheting, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and extended family. Gretchen was a faithful and lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks.
    In her younger years, she was employed for 15 years at Kimberly-Clark in the Research and Development Department, before leaving to raise her family. She also enjoyed bowling, camping, vacationing at Roberts Lake and baking lamb cakes for special occasions at the church.
    Gretchen is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Biese, Combined Locks; two children, Gregory R. (Penny) Biese, Appleton, and their children, Cortney Biese, Matthew Biese, Cara Biese and Michael Biese; and Mary Margaret L. (David) Eisley, Oshkosh, and their children, Benjamin (Elise) Eisley, Katherine (Tyler) Jandrin, Philip Eisley, Anne Eisley and Kenneth Bruski-Eisley and his fiancee, Desiree; and two great-grandchildren, Mercedes and Azailya Bruski. There are also two sisters, Betty (Glen) Aerts, Kimberly; and Ione Jansen, Combined Locks; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Raymond Behling, Combined Locks; Dorothy Biese, Kimberly; and Grace Garvey, Freedom.
    She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, Johanna (Jack) Siegel, Alfred (Vera) Lom, Rachel (Richard) Janssen, Rodney (Helen) Lom, Barbara (Clarence) DeCoster, Lorraine (John R.)     Betty Aerts, age 88 of Combined Locks, passed away at Atrium Post Acute Care in Little Chute on Wednesday morning, December 2, 2015. Betty was born in Combined Locks on September 22, 1927, daughter of the late Nicholas and Agnes (Yingling) Lom. On June 4, 1947, she married Glenn Aerts at St. Paul Church in Combined Locks, and the couple spent over sixty-eight wonderful years together. In her working days, Betty worked as a cook in the Kimberly School District for over twenty-five years. She loved baking and cooking, and enjoyed sharing her tasty treats with relatives and friends. She was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved them all very much.
    She is survived by her husband: Glenn Aerts; two sons: Terry Aerts of Lakewood and Tom (Lisa) Aerts of Sherwood; six grandchildren: Amy (Todd) Van Hout, Timothy (Peggy) Aerts, Daniel (Mary) Aerts, Josh Aerts (Misty Verhagen), Nick (Alyssa) Aerts, and Laura (fiancé Jason Wierschke) Aerts; eight grandchildren: McKenna, Kirsten, Owen, Ethan, Alexis, Kherington, Watson, and Lincoln. She is also survived by a sister: Ione Jansen of Combined Locks; a brother-in-law; Ray Behling; as well as many special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: Johanna (Jack) Siegl, Alfred (Vera) Lom, Rachel (Richard) Janssen, Rod (Helen) Lom, Barb (Clarence) DeCoster, Cliff (Mary Jansen) Lom, Stena Behling, Lorraine (John) Jansen, and Gretchen (Bob) Biese; and brothers-in-law: Lester Jansen and Kenneth Aerts.
    The funeral liturgy for Betty will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street in Combined Locks, with Fr. Andrew Kysely officiating.     Ione Jansen, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Paul Home.
    Ione was born on July 23, 1929 to Nick and Agnes (Yingling) Lom. She was united in marriage to Lester Jansen on October 10, 1950. Ione enjoyed taking care of her yard and was always pulling the weeds. She was devoted to her faith and was a lifetime member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Most of all she loved her family and she always enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Ione is survived by her children; Susan Verhagen, Randy Jansen, and Rodney (Julie) Jansen, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Shirley Jansen and a son-in-law Dave Kempen. She was preceded in death by her husband Lester, her son Tim Jansen, and daughter Debra Kempen and her siblings.
    The funeral liturgy for Ione will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace St. Combined Locks, with Fr. Andrew Kysely officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.

    Orville W. Yingling, 91, of Boulder Lake, died Monday, May 5, 2008, in Langlade Memorial Hospital, Antigo, WI. He was born January 21, 1917, in Kaukauna, WI, Son of the late Frank and Mary (Feller) Yingling. He married Hazel Alft in 1942. She preceded him in death in 1959. He married Beatrice Smits on September 30, 1961, at Kaukauna. She survives. He was raised in Kaukauna and graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1935. He was an Eagle Boy Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow. He received the Ad Altre Dei and the Silver Beaver Awards. Prior to WWII, he assisted in the planning and construction of Gardner Dam Boy Scout Camp at Langlade. During WWII, he served in the China Burma India Theater as a Master Sgt in the Signal Army Air Corps. He worked in Appleton as a Service Foreman for Wisconsin Telephone Company, which later became Wisconsin Bell. He retired in 1975 and moved to Boulder Lake where he was active in Langlade Little League as a coach. In Appleton, he was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society and Boy Scout Master for the church troop.
    He was a member and lector at St. James and Stanislaus Catholic Congregation of White Lake and Langlade. He had a passion for the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening.
    Surviving are his wife, Bea Yingling Boulder Lake; two daughters: Kathy (Charles) Frisk, Green Bay; Carol (Sam) Hendry, Riverview, FL; four grandchildren: Stacey Frisk, Erin Frisk, Andrea (Dave) Young, Marty Larkee; four great-grandchildren: Rhianna and Doug Young, Skylar and Madison Larkee; a brother, Jim (Joanne) Yingling Laona; a sister Dorothy (Gene) Sage, Chula Vista, AK.
    He was preceded in death by parents, wife Hazel Alft; four brothers: Jerome, Donald, Norbert and Francis Yingling.
    Services will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Langlade, Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Paul Koszarek officiating.     Yingling, Francis Harold "Frank" AppletonAge 74, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at Appleton Medical Cent er. He was born on August 29, 1927 to the late Frank and Mary (Feller) Yin gling. He was married to Dolores Giebisch on November 6, 1954. Francis ser ved in the Navy from 1945 to 1953. In 1953 he entered the US Marine Cor ps to become a Naval aviator. He served in Korea and Vietnam, retiri ng as a helicopter pilot in 1966, with the rank of Major.Friends from years ago will remember Frank fondly with the many hunting a nd fishing trips hours, they shared with him. Years ago Francis was acti ve in his Zion Lutheran Church and the Aim Intervention Program.Francis is survived by his wife; a son, Gregory (Paula) Yingling; a daught er, Laurie Yingling; a grandson, Jake, all of Appleton; two brothers: Orvi lle (Beatrice), Boulder Lake, Wisconsin; James (Joanne), Laona, Wisconsi n; and a sister, Dorothy (Gene) Sage, Arkansas. He was preceded in dea th by an infant daughter, Antonette; three brothers: Jerome, Donald and No rbert Yingling.     On August 27, 1955 in Kaukauna he married Joann Driessen. He worked at International Paper for 41 years retiring in 1994 at which time they moved to Laona where he could golf more often. His hobbies include golfing and cutting the grass.

    Shirley was a precious, devoted, loving wife and mother; she was the strength and inspiration of her family and a good example to her children and all those who knew her throughout her life.
    During her last days she had been saying her good byes to her husband and children and during her last five days she had the presence of many of her family all around her for comfort as she passed away of natural causes.

She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

    Carol V. Van Hout, Kimberly, Age 81, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at St. Paul Home. She was born December 26, 1932 in Combined Locks, daughter of the late John and Johanna (Lom) Siegel. Carol graduated from St. John High School in 1950. Following high school, Carol, formerly Sr. M. Juanita, served her faith as a Franciscan Sr. during which time she graduated from Marquette University School of Nursing in 1957. After devoting her life to the Lord for 15 years, she married James Van Hout on May 20, 1967 at St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks. For 37 years, Carol served in the nursing profession at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Carol gave generously and willingly to others and lovingly cared for her husband, children, and grandchildren. Carol enjoyed being a member of the Secular Franciscans-St. Joseph Fraternity, Appleton. Carol was also an avid reader, with a passion for history.
    Carol is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James C. (Jodi) Van Hout; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary (Jamie) Koester; grandchildren: Hana and Brady Koester; surrogate daughter, Ann Wynboom; a brother, John (Cindy) Siegel; 4 sisters: Shirley (Martin) Van Hout, Nancy Miron, Rosalie Evers, and Judy Kush. She is further survived by her husband's family: Cornelius (Donna) Van Hout, Anthony (Verna) Van Hout, and Mary Quinn.
    Carol was preceded in death by her husband, James on June 13, 2007; a brother, LeRoy (MaryAnn) Siegel; brothers-in-law: Jack Miron, Gordon Evers, and Gerald Kush. She is further preceded in death by her husband's family: Cornelius and Johanna Van Hout, William Van Hout (Marion and Mary), Frank (Celeste), Joseph (Jane), Lambert (Mary Jane and Marlene), Frances (Lyle) Eggert, Cora (Edward) Martens, John Quinn and nephews, Paul Van Hout and Christopher Kush.

He was born September 2, 1937, in Combined Locks, to the late John and Johanna (Lom) Siegel. On July 19, 1960, Roy married the former Mary Ann VanDyke at St. Mary Catholic Church, Kaukauna. The couple lived in Combined Locks their entire married lives. Roy enjoyed working for the Combined Locks Street Dept. for 30+ years retiring in 1999. Roy loved cooking, watching western movies, the Packers, and the trips he and Mary Ann took to Alaska. He was a terrific father, grandfather and friend, especially enjoying time spent with the grandchildren.
    Roy was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict and was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks.
    He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Ann; their children: Shawn (Todd) Vanden Boogart, Darboy; Nick (Kerri) Siegel, Combined Locks; Dan (Annette) Siegel, Kaukauna; Sharon (Jeff) LaBrec, Town of Harrison; and JoAnne (John) Cummings, White Lake; 19 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, John (Cindy) Siegel, Kaukauna; five sisters: Shirley (Marty) Van Hout, Alaska; Carol Van Hout, Kimberly; Nancy (John) Miron, Combined Locks; Rosalie Evers, Combined Locks; and Judy (Jerry Kush, Waukesha. He is further survived by his wife's brother-in-law, Les Bohm, Kaukauna; numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by three infant children: Leroy Jr., Peter and Barbara; two brothers-in-law: Gordon Evers and Jim Van Hout; two nephews: Chris Kush and Paul Van Hout.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be 4 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2008, at ST. PAUL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 E. Wallace Street, Combined Locks with Fr. Jim Lucas officiating. Friends will be received on Friday at church from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Complete Military Rites will be held outside of church immediately following services.     Combined Locks - Phyllis L. Roovers, age 83, formerly of Combined Locks, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. She was born on April 24, 1934, daughter of the late Roderick and Helen (Janssen) Lom. On May 4, 1955, Phyllis married Martin Roovers at St. Paul Catholic Church in Combined Locks. Together the celebrated 61 years of marriage before his passing in 2016.
    Phyllis enjoyed embroidering, sewing, cooking, baking, flying and traveling. She had a very strong faith, praying the rosary every night. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks. Above all, Phyllis loved her family. She would protect them until the very end and do anything she could for them. Her and Marty could often be seen attending many of their grandchildren and great grandchildren's activities. She was her happiest when surrounded by her loved ones.
    Phyllis is survived by her children: Annette (Tom) Van Grinsven, Cindy De Valk, Karen (Anthony) Shablak, Roderick (Vicky) Roovers, and Robin (Todd) LeNoble; grandchildren: Jessica, Scott, Tara, Abbie, Emily, Amanda, Ashley, Marissa, Paige, Matthew, Martin, and Morgan; 19 great grandchildren; and many other family members and special friends.
    Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marty; her parents: Roderick and Helen; son-in-law, Mick De Valk; grandsons: Eric and Jason; a sister, Lea Ann (William) De Goey; Marty's siblings: John, George, George Jr., Joe, Jake, Marie, Anne, Georgeanne, Francis, Marie, Joanne, Tom, Martha, and Frank; father and mother-in-law: Frank and Jacoba (Van Beek) Roovers.

    Janice A. Verhagen, age 69, Little Chute, passed away on January 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 5, 1943, daughter of John R. and Lorraine G. (Lom) Jansen.
    On June 3, 1964, she was united in marriage to Thomas S. Verhagen at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. They were married for 40 wonderful years.
    Jan was an active member of St. John's Parish serving as a Eucharistic Minister, member of the Social Concerns and Awareness Committee and the Food Pantry. She also volunteered her time at the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley.
    She was employed with her husband for many years in the accounting firm they established. After the business was sold, she continued her employment with VVH & Associates, LLP until her retirement in 2004.
    Jan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and friend to many. She loved nothing more than spending time with her kids and grandkids. Whether it was attending the grandkids' sporting or school events, at one of the family cottages, or enjoying time in the comfort of her home.
    Survivors include her children: Lisa (Paul) Bons, Paula (Paul) Aman and Michael (Kristin) Verhagen and grandchildren: Christa and Carly Vander Pas, Alex and Casey Bons; Katie and Haley Aman; Caleb, Joshua and Isaac Verhagen.
    She is further survived by one sister: Susan (Dennis) Van Hoof; brother: John (Michele) Jansen; and brother-in-law: Peter Heesakker. Her husband's family: sisters-in-law: Jane (Joe) Janssen, Betty (Ken) Schnese and brother-in-law, Ken Vanden Heuvel. Special godchildren: Sharon Van Deraa, Randy Jansen, Mark Vanden Heuvel, Kathy Hermus and Dan Van Hoof. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special friends.
    Jan was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom (Nig) on December 26, 2004; her parents; infant sister, Lorraine Jansen; sister Patricia Heesakker; her mother- and father-in-law, Peter and Elizabeth (Janssen) Verhagen; sister-in-law, Anne Vanden Heuvel.
    Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine St., Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating and Msgr. Jim VandenHogen concelebrating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Thursday, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute. A memorial has been established in Jan's name.
    The family would like to thank Affinity Visiting Nurses Hospice for their assistance, compassion and support. A special thank you to all the angels here on earth who helped care for mom. She is now a beautiful angel watching over us all.

    Timothy G. Jansen, Kaukauna, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 18, 2012. He was born on April 21, 1951 in Combined Locks, son of Lester and Ione (Lom) Jansen. Tim graduated from Kimberly High School in 1969, then proudly served in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. He then went on to make his career as a semi-truck driver at Dorn's Delivery and Transfer where he worked for 33 years and was enjoying retirement for the past 4 years. Tim always made time for his hobbies which included family time, fishing, hunting, reading, walking, exercising, snowmobiling, and spending time in the great outdoors of Northern Wisconsin.
    He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shirley Jansen; his daughter, Lisa (Art) Norton, his son, Corey (long-time girlfriend, Joye Schmeling and her children, Keagan and Hayden) Jansen, his loving grandchildren: Joshua McDonald, Allison McDonald, Abbi (son Iven) Norton, Bryce Jansen; his mother, Ione Jansen, his brothers: Randy Jansen and Rodney (Julie) Jansen; his sister, Susan Jansen Verhagen. He is further survived by his wife's family: mother-in-law, Deloris Benzschawel; sisters and brothers-in-law: Connie and Bill Radtke, Glen and Cheryl Benzschawel, Alan and Pamela Benzschawel, Gary and Jeri Benzschawel, Todd and Linda Benzschawel, Bonnie and Ian Davison, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Jansen, a sister, Debra Kempen and father-in-law, Clifford Benzschawel.

    Debra Kempen, Appleton, age 57, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday afternoon, September 19, 2010. She was born in Appleton on April 26, 1953, daughter of the late Lester Jansen and Ione Jansen who currently resides in Combined Locks. On June 23, 1975, she married David Kempen at First English Lutheran Church in Appleton. Debra had previously been employed as a graphic designer at Fox Valley Technical College. She was a very talented and artistic woman who enjoyed sewing, knitting, hobbies, and crafts of all kinds. She also spent much time on her gardening and landscape. A day didn't pass when she didn't stretch in the morning and spend time with her dog, Abby.

    Gary Yingling, 58, Kaukauna, passed away at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born on June 29, 1951, in Appleton, to the late Jerome and Helen (Andrejeski) Yingling. He married Virginia Christensen on Jan. 3, 2004. Gary worked for Thilmany for 40 years and was an avid golfer. He was a wonderful husband and father and was an all around great guy. Gary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held the position of High Priest.
    Gary is survived by his wife, Virginia Yingling, Kaukauna; one son, Jordan (Kelly) Yingling, Appleton; four daughters, Cristi (Mike) Gatten, Las Vegas; Hollie Anne Chadwick, Las Vegas; Terri Lynne (David) Gonzalez, Alpine, Utah; Debbie (Michael) Harper, Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren, Cailin, Lila, Christina, Christopher, Carolyn, Jason, Skyler, Tiffany, Kelsie, and Stasha; two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Jordan; two brothers, Thomas (Debbie) Yingling and David (Jennifer) Yingling; two sisters, Linda (Pete) Madaski and Karen (Mike) Rammer; his mother-in-law, Eileen Christensen, Orem, Utah; five nieces and nephews and many friends.

    Eslinger, Ken J. "Animal" It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved husband, son, father, brother and friend, Ken Eslinger, on October 28, 2015. Ken passed away due to complications from infections. Unfortunately the conventional health care system failed him - big time. He was born on March 2, 1963, son of James and Louella (Lom) Eslinger. Ken graduated from Kimbelry High School, and then went on to work at Warehouse Specialists as a lead man. He took great pride in running and operating the Combined Locks warehouse. On September 30, 1989, he married the love of his life, Sara Miller.
    Ken was an active member of the Fox Valley Snow Riders snowmobile club, bowling and horseshoe leagues. He was an avid NASCAR and Packers fan, and enjoyed running the pools and keeping states for leagues. Ken loved riding his motorcycle and snowmobile, and working on old cars, or anything with an engine. He was the organizer for family events, and was also the photographer, always taking the pictures. He enjoyed camping with his family and spending time with his precious pets, Emma and Blackie. Playing a hand or two of cards was also a favorite.
    Ken is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sara; his son, Kyle (Monica) Eslinger, and his first grandbaby on the way; a daughter, Karina; his mother, Lou Saurbier; step father, Jerry Saurbier; siblings: Jim (Lori), Rick, Sheri (Bonnie Konen), Jerry Jr. (Carrie) Saurbier; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Laverne Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law: Kim (Bob) Derks, Randy (Bridget) Miller, Gary (Lori) Miller, Karla (Bill) Flynn, Bruce Yaeger (special friend Jody), Sally (Joe) Jaskolski; special aunts and uncles: Faith (Ron) Sanderfoot, Kathy (Mike) Palm, Butch (Donna) Lom; very special friends: Todd (Lee Ann) Bruyette and Pearl (Teri Heenan) Dietzen; and many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
    Ken was preceded in death by his father, James Eslinger; a brother, Tom Eslinger; sister-in-law, Mary (Miller) Yaeger and a close friend, Jim Lutz.
    Memorial services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Chuch, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute, with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Ken's name.     Behling, Nicholas Raymond "Nick"
    Nicholas Behling, 24, Little Chute, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 22, 2009. He was born September 18, 1984, in Appleton, son of Todd and Lisa (Ahrens) Behling. He was employed at Down the Hill in Little Chute. His passion was hunting and fishing, which he enjoyed. He also liked dart shooting and was a NASCAR fan. He loved his cats: Ziggy, Harley and Roxy. Everyone who knew him loved him, he had no enemies.
    Nicholas is survived by his very special friend, Heather Schulz, Little Chute; parents: Lisa (Kent) Stroess, Little Chute and Todd Behling and his special friend Kay Huemphner, Little Chute; sister, Amber (Andrew) O'Connor, Little Chute and step brother, Jesse Stroess, Minneapolis; grandparents: Tom (Rose) Ahrens, Appleton; and Raymond Behling, Combined Locks; aunts and uncles: Mike (Missie) Ahrens, Menasha; Brian (Missy) Ahrens, Appleton; T.J. (Faren) Ahrens, Cocoa, Florida; Jeff (Gail) Behling, New Holstein; and Doug Behling, Little Chute; cousins. Also survived by Heather's parents, Robert (Lori) Schulz, West Bend and her brother, Brad Schulz; special friends: Nick Vandeburgt and Zeb Beyer and numerous other special friends.
    Nick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Stena Behling.
    Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2009, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Combined Locks. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Monday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
