Alice V. Craanen May 16, 1923 - January 6, 2013 Alice V. Craanen, 89,Green Bay, formerly of Bay Settlement,entered Heaven's Gate on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Born on May 16,1923, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Antone and Anna(Ropson) Liebergen. On September 8, 1945, she married Ellsworth A.Craanen, and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1985. The couplefarmed their homestead until 1978, when they retired and moved toGreen Bay. She enjoyed playing sheepshead and making cookies, andwas an avid Avon collector and gift giver. Alice was very devotedto her faith, and was a longtime member of Holy Cross-BaySettlement, and Saints Peter and Paul Church.Alice is survivedby one sister, Lucille Liebergen; many cousins, and twogodchildren, Jean Ann and Susie.She was preceded indeath by her husband; parents; and one brother, Edmund "Eddie"Liebergen.Visitation at Malcore (East)Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St, Wednesday(January 9, 2012) from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Wake service 7:00 p.m.at the funeral home. Visitation will continue Thursday (January 10,2012) at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the procession tochurch. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church,710 N.
