Mrs. Diedrick w as a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute and St. J ohn Mission Club. She was also a member of the Vandenbroek Senior Citiz en Card Club and the Kimberly Clark Quarter Century Club. Frances V. "Fran" Richter, Kimberly, WI, formerly of Burlington, WI, age 83, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Appleton Medical Center on Thursday, November 29, 2007. She was born in Kimberly on May 18, 1924, the daughter of the late Walter and Marie (Vanden Boogard) Van Eperen. On September 3, 1955, she married her husband of 42 years, Robert Richter. He preceded her in death in 1998. They resided in Burlington, WI, for over 40 years and she recently moved back to Kimberly. Fran enjoyed her jobs at the Institute of Paper Chemistry, Kimberly Clark Corporation and 1st Banking Center.
She was a member of the Burlington Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Fran loved entertaining and was a gourmet cook. Fran was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed knitting, baking, playing cards with her friends, dining out, shopping, and attending family events.
Fran is survived by her children: Barbara Richter of Milwaukee, Patrice Rothman of Minneapolis, and Ron Richter of Milwaukee; grandchildren: Ryan and Erick Rothman, and Mallory, Andrew and Jarod Richter; brothers: Bernie (Nita) Van Eperen of Arizona and Paul (Barb) Van Eperen of Kimberly; sister, Lou (Gene) Schultz of Kimberly; sisters-in-law: Theresa Van Eperen and Dori Van Eperen; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many close friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers: John (Evelyn), Walt (Bev), Joe, Hank, Ray, Donald, George, and Joseph; sisters: Mickey Saucer, Leone (Bob) Green, Johanna (Walt) Diedrich, and Leona Van Eperen.
The funeral liturgy will be at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007, at Holy Spirit Parish, KIMBERLY CAMPUS, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Jack Anderson and Dr. Atif Qureshi, and their staff, for their compassionate medical attention.
Fran will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Paul A. Van Eperen, 80, a lifelong Kimberly resident, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born a groundhog on Feb. 2, 1928, at home in Kimberly, son of the late Walter and Marie (Vanden Boogard) Van Eperen and graduated from Kimberly High School in the Class of 1946. As a sergeant in the United States Army, he served as a medic in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Paul was united in marriage to Barbara C. Schaefer on Sept. 15, 1951, at Sacred Heart Church in Appleton.
Paul became a journeyman plumber in 1955 and worked on many commercial projects throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula. Paul truly loved his work and also enjoyed building, remodeling and working on the homes of his children. He always seemed to keep himself busy, whether it was with puzzles, collecting cans for Holy Name School, or just puttering with various projects.
Paul was a longtime and faithful member of Holy Spirit Church in Kimberly and served as an usher for many years. He was also a 50 year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union #458 and served in various capacities, including Vice President, a member of the Plumbers Apprenticeship Board and the Executive Board. He and Barbara enjoyed attending the Plumbers conventions and their children greatly enjoyed many Plumbers and Steamfitters picnics. Paul was also appointed to the Kimberly Planning Commission by Jim Siebers and served many years in that capacity. He was a key member in the drive to establish the Kimberly Business Park, as well as the establishment of Eisenhower Drive, the corridor connecting CE to KK. Paul was a member of the William Verhagen Post #60 of the American Legion and during the late 1950's and early 1960's was a member of their drill team. He was also a member of the Kimberly Kiwanis Club.

Vincent Bressers, age 88, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Appleton Medical Center with family at his side. He was born on March 9, 1925 in Little Chute, the son of the late Martin and Anna (Van Eperen) Bressers. On January 15, 1949, Vincent married the love of his life, Lois Hanstedt at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Appleton. He served his country during WWII in the Merchant Marine. Vincent was a member of the Jacob Coppus Post 258 of the American Legion in Little Chute, charter member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton, and the Fox Valley Golf Club in Kaukauna. He began his employment at Tuttle Press in Appleton, and retired in 1987 after 40 years with George Banta Printing in Menasha. Vincent and Lois enjoyed the couple's league at Sabre Lanes, and over 23 years of Florida vacations together. His family was very important to him, and he looked forward to the family vacations at Roberts Lake. They were Green Bay Packer ticket holders for over 40 years. He loved being around people, and was always ready with his one liners.

Lou Van Eperen, 81, Combined Locks, died at his home Wednesday, June 2, 2010. He was born February 28, 1929, in Little Chute, son Adrian and Irma (Thurston) Van Eperen. He married Jeannine McGrew, September 1, 1971, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean War and had served in Korea and Panama.
Lou served as Commander of the 8th District Department of the VFW as well as Commander of Kaukauna VFW Post #3319. He was also a member of Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chute. Lou formed the Little Chute Historical Society and acted as their first president.

Roger Enlisted in the Navy in 1951 and was very proud of his rank of "Master Chief Petty Officer", as he mentioned to everyone. He retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1989. He was employed by the Institute of Paper Chemistry and retired in 1995. On May 27, 1981 Roger married the love of his life, Norma Lee Smith, who was also a member of the U.S. Navy. Together they traveled abroad and to all 50 states. He was a Scout Master, hunter's safety instructor, member of the American Legion Post #160 of Smyrna, Georgia, and an extremely proud and active member of the VFW Post #3319.
He is survived by his children: Pat (Dave) Biese, Gary (JoAnn) VanEperen, Sharon Sherman, Barb (Al) DeCoster, Laura (Robert) Jansen, James "Epe" (Kim) VanEperen, and step-children, Mary Berlin and William (Cheryl) Berlin. Also, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. He is further survived by a brother, Anthony VanEperen, and sisters, Theresa (Ronald) VanGroll and June (Floyd) Miller, Marian (Gordon) Becker, Maxine "Mickey" Byrd and a sister and brother-in law, Jeannine VanEperen and Tom Smith.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores L. VanEperen; sisters, Theresa VanEperen, Ann Thompson, and brothers Louis, Richard, and Donald VanEperen. Also brothers-in-law, Fritz and Gary Smith.
Mass of Christian Burial for Roger will be at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial in Roger's name is being established for the Veterans Memorial-Ring of Honor. Theresa M. Van Groll (Terry) formerly of Darboy, age 83 passed away peacefully October 8, 2016 at The Shores of Sheboygan where she resided the last of couple years. Terry was born Theresa Mary Van Eperen on November 14, 1932 in Little Chute, WI to Arthur and Erma (Thurston) Van Eperen. Terry was united in marriage to Ronald Van Groll on August 1, 1953 who preceded her in death on July 29, 2012. Terry worked many jobs in her younger years along with caring for her family. In 1971, Terry and Ron established Ron and Terry's Rendezvous in Little Chute. They owned and operated the business for 17 years and brought joy and laughter to many people, after which Terry and Ron relocated to Darboy. Terry worked at the Darboy Club for many years. Terry's passion, other than her family, was her faith in God. She read many scriptures at mass and was a proud member of Holy Angels Church of Darboy, where her life will be celebrated. Terry worked and called Bingo for many years at Holy Angels Church where she had numerous friends and rarely missed Monday Night Bingo. In 2013 Terry moved to Sheboygan to be cared for as her health was failing.
Terry is survived her three sons: Larry (Laura), Leo (Lynn), Louie (Linda) Van Groll and daughter Lisa (special friend Ruth) Van Groll. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Mike, Dave, Nathan, Amanda, Lea, Paige, Shane and Julie Van Groll, Stephanie (Steve) Mc Gregor, Anthony "AJ", Jaci and Dante Rubio, Sara (James) Schimmelpfenning and great grandchildren: Lexi, Domnyck, Braydyn, Cierra, Dominic, Shanel, Kahli Van Groll, Beau Mc Gregor, Braelyn and Brianna Schimmelpfenning, Emma and Paislee Rubio. Other survivors include sisters and brothers in law: June (Floyd) Miller, Mary (Gordon) Becker, her brother Tony Van Eperen and sister in law Jeannine Van Eperen, many special nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with Ron, Terry is also preceded in death by her beautiful daughters: Linda and Louann Van Groll, her parents Art and Erma Van Eperen, her father and mother in law Joseph and Mary Van Groll. Brothers: Lou, Dick, Donnie, and Roger. Sisters: Theresa Van Eperen, Ann Thompson and Mickey Byrd. Sisters in law: Dorothy Van Eperen and Norma Van Eperen and brother in law Floyd Byrd.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, W2796 Cty Hwy KK, Darboy. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the Mass.

Ann Marie (Van Eperen) Thompson, age 68 of Colorado Springs, CO, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007. She was born Adriana (later changed to Ann) September 29, 1938, to the late Adrian and Irma (Thurston) Van Eperen in Appleton, where she was raised and went to school. She graduated from the University of Colorado with a masters degree in Psychology. For the past 30 some years she has resided in Nevada and Colorado. She was raised in her younger years by her foster parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nabbefeld. Most of her life was spent enjoying her children and grandchildren and when possible playing bingo.
She is survived by her six children: son, Chris of Appleton; and daughters: Dawn (Keith) LaMee and Debra of Colorado Springs; June Freyberg and Theresa Bustros (and friend Troy Plocar) both of Sheboygan; and Jacquelyn Harder of Mishiwaka, IN; and by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three brothers: Louis (Jeannine) Van Eperen of Combined Locks, Anthony Van Eperen of Milwaukee, and Roger (Norma) Van Eperen of Kaukauna; three sisters: Terry (Ron) Van Groll of Darboy; June (Floyd) Miller of Mackville; and Marian (Gordon) Becker of Hortonville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by two brothers, Richard and Donald, and a sister, Theresa; and by her beloved granddaughter Raven Marie.
Ann's cremated remains will be returned to Appleton and a memorial service will be held later this month at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel. A memorial fund will be established in her name.

Janice "Jan" L. Dennee, of Kaukauna passed away on May 19, 2013 after a 4 year battle with serious illnesses. She was surrounded by her loving family. Jan was born on October 26, 1940 at the family farm in the Town of Vandenbroek. The first of three children born to the late Walter and Johanna (Van Eperen) Diedrick she learned at a young age the many things of farming. She was a 1958 graduate of St. John High School and lived in the Kaukauna area most of her life.
On June 18, 1982 she married Jim Dennee enjoying many wonderful times over their 32 years together. Jan was employed by WE Energies for many years retiring in 1999. She and Jim enjoyed traveling seeing most of the 50 states, Canada, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and Mexico. Jan enjoyed flower gardens, birds, Packer & Badger games, the grandchildren's many activities and getting together with family and friends. She took pride in growing flowers and manicuring bushes. Jan loved spending time at their cottage on Lake Nocquebay and then retiring there for seven years before moving back to Kaukauna.
Jan was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Combined Locks.
She is survived by her husband Jim; sister, Margaret (Russ) Robley; brother, Ron (Sandy) Diedrick; nieces: Stacie (Joe) Ferg and Gina (Steve) O'Brien; nephews: Shane (Jenni) Robley, Brian Robley and Mike (Nicki) Diedrick; her stepchildren: James (Laurie) Dennee, Stacy (Tom) Van Eperen, Michelle (Mitch) Heimlich, Paul (Shani) Dennee; ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Vonnie) Dennee and Daniel (Judy) Dennee.

Kathleen Puls, 62, Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. She was born Oct. 11, 1949, in Appleton, daughter of Robert and Leona (Van Eperen) Green.
Kathleen was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Kathy married Steven D. Puls July 15, 1989. She was employed as a school bus driver for several local school districts. Kathy was also employed at Walmart and other local retail stores. She loved scrapbooking and was a Disney enthusiast and enjoying all things associated with Disney. Kathleen loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to take her grandchildren to Disney World.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Steve; children, Angie (Robert) Huettl, Appleton; Robert Voigt and girlfriend, Kristin, Little Chute; Amanda (Jamie) Anderson, Little Chute; eight cherished grandchildren, Erik and Allison; Grace, Brendan and Alyssa; Sierra, Logan and Matthew; three brothers and a sister, Ray (Eileen) Green, New Jersey; Mike Green, Kimberly; Mary (Don) Gerrits, Little Chute; Jeff (Sarah) Green, Oshkosh; a brother-in-law, Mike (Kathy) Puls, Indiana; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, with Deacon Don Newhouse officiating. Interment will be in Ostrander Cemetery, New London. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home until the time of the service.

Joseph Marcus Van Eperen, 61, went to the arms of his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 17, 2014 surrounded by his family at Fox River Nursing Home.
Joe was born on August 6, 1953 to Joseph and Eloisa (Mendez) Van Eperen in Appleton. He was an avid fisherman and loved nature especially the fall colors. He was a huge Packer fan, and he could always be seen wearing his green and gold Packers colors and enjoyed scratch off tickets. Most important to him was his family and he was always there for them, and the times they spent together will be forever treasured. Joe was a member of Holy Cross Parish and his deep and abiding faith were an inspiration to his family.
Joe is survived by his son Justin, who was the light of his life, his mother Eloisa Van Eperen, sisters; Joanmarie "Toby" Berken, Jean Berkers, Jacqueline (Abel) Rodriguez, Julie (Richard) Merritt, Jennifer (Jason) Smith, brother, James (Laura) Van Eperen. Appleton - On Sunday, February 11, 2018, Eric J. Merritt was called home by his Lord and Savior after continued complications with his health. Waiting for him at the heavenly gates was his beloved grandmother. Eric was born in Appleton on July 20, 1978, son of Richard and Julie (Van Eperen) Merritt. He was a graduate of the Weyauwega-Fremont High School's class of 1996.
Eric cherished every moment with his precious children, teaching them God's Word, through his thoughts, words, and actions. He had a kind and beautiful soul.
Each relationship Eric shared was unique and special, and everything he did for others was done with purpose and meaning. Eric had an unwavering bond with his mother, father, and sister, and he devoted his life to his babies. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his infectious smile, and his many unique collections.
Survivors include his parents: Julie and Richard Merritt; four loving children: Calleigh, Brevon, Landon, and Peyton; his sister: Madeleine (fiancé Brian Lemke) Merritt and their son Tobias; three brothers: Shane Mata, Steven Mata, and Joseph Facundo; several aunts and uncles: Joanmarie "Toby" Berken, Jean Berkers, Jackie (Abel) Rodriguez, Jim (Laura) Van Eperen, Jenny (Jason) Smith, Robert (Denise Lapier) Merritt, Judy Merritt - Lampl, James Merritt, Curtis Merritt, and Lynn Merritt.
