Martin Ebben Appleton Age 74, died Sunday, April 30, 2000. Martin was bo rn November 11,1925, to the late William and Gertrude (Linskens) Ebben in the Town of Van denbroek. He married
Betty Bayer, June 25, 1949, at St. Mary's of Menasha.Martin served in the United States Navy during World War II and was retir ed from the Wisconsin
Electric Power Company after 36 years of service.Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Betty; a son, Christopher (Margare t) Ebben; a daughter,Gayle Pierce; two grandchildren, Brandon and Kelsey Pierce; two step grand daughters, Tina(Moises) and Tana (Roemie); three brothers, Robert (Gladys) Ebben, Dona ld (Dorothy) Ebben andJames (Maryln) Ebben; a sister, Lucille (Roger) Hietpas; five sisters-in-l aw, Charlotte DeWidt,Marge (Cy) Berg, Vivian Bayer, Betty Bayer, Catherine Bayer; two brothers- in-law, Karl
Minkebige and Cyril Bayer; many nieces and nephews.A Private Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Thomas More with Fr. G erald Falk officiating.In lieu of flowers, a gesture of concern may be made to the St. Thomas Mo re scholarship fund or a
