Obituary:
Hartman "Horse" Summers, 67, Oneida, passed away, 9 p.m., May 8, 2007, in his home. He was born, March 3, 1940, to the late Frank and Margaret (Smith) Summers. He married Carol John in 1965. Hartman's strongest attributes in life was bringing laughter to all he encounter, caring for his kids and granddaughter, Elizabeth. He will be sadly missed, but has returned home and is now at peace.
He is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren, Carol Summers, Arnold Summers, Ethel "Maria" Summers and two brothers, Frank (Pat) Jr. and Richard Summers, all of Oneida Wis. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Elizabeth Guzman, Brianna Summers, Kyle Ninham, Maranda Doxtater, Cody, Charles Jr., Ava Belise, and Jardina Plume White Eye.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Arnold Summers and sister, Phyliss Hill.
Friends may call at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, De Pere on Thursday, May 10, 2007 (TODAY) from 4 to 8 p.m. with the Oneida Hymn Singers at 6:30 and a prayer service at 7 p.m. On Friday May 11, 2007 there will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to Holy Apostles Church, Oneida, to arrive for the 10:30 a.m. funeral service with Fr. Jon Cell officiating and Deacon Edmond Powless and Rev. Deacon Deborah Heckel assisting. Burial will follow in the Holy Apostles Cemetery.
