Obituary:
Gordon Doxtater, 76, Green Bay, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 27, 1931, in Oneida, a son of the late Charles and Hilda (Denny) Doxtator. On Nov. 19, 1949, Gordon married the former Lois Burkel in Green Bay. She preceded him in death. Gordon enjoyed golf, football, and was the #1 fan of the Packers.
Gordon is survived by his children, Kathryn (Kenneth) Newbanks, Green Bay; Karen (special friend, Tracy Thomas) Mills, Green Bay; and Kevan Doxtater, Billings, Mont.; grandchildren, Kyla (Wenzel) Wallenfang, Lauren Mills, Catherine Mills, Robert Mills, Michael Mills, and Kintla Wheeler; great-grandchild, Kendra Wallenfang; and sister, Verna Farris, Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois; brothers, Irvin and Timmon; and sister, Beatrice.
Visitation for Gordon will be held on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth St. from 5 to 8 p.m. Oneida Singers will be at 6:30 p.m. Prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
