    Obituary:
    Harold Koepke, Rt. 1, Shiocton, Wisc., age 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home at 8 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 15, 1964). He was born October 11, 1902, in the Town of Ellington and resided his entire life in the Shiocton area. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Shiocton. Mr. Koepke is survived by his wife, Alvena; three daughters, Mrs. Merton Parthie, Stephensville; Mrs. Gaylord Goerl, and Mrs. Marvin Schuettpelz, both of Appleton; six sons, LeRoy, Los Angeles, Calif; Melvin, Rt. 1 Shiocton; Erwin, West DePere; Merle, Appleton; S-Sgt. Leslie, Abilene, Texas; Robert, U.S. Navy, on duty in the South Pacific; two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Knorr, Kaukauna; Mrs. Olaf Hansen, Neenah; one brother, Elmer, Neenah; 21 grandchildren. Funeral services are incomplete and pending at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Shiocton. Burial will be in the Town of Bovina Cemetery.

    Harold married Sutton, Alvena Bef 1925. Alvena was born 5 Sep 1904, Beloit, Rock, Wisconsin, USA; died 11 Jul 1987, Embarrass, Waupaca, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , Shiocton Bovina St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Della Marie (Koepke) Parthie, 84, Hortonville, went to Heaven on Oct. 11, 2009, due to heart problems complicated by pneumonia. Della was born July 7, 1925, in the Town of Bovina, to Harold and Alvena (Sutton) Koepke. She graduated from Shiocton High School in 1943. On July 5, 1947, she was married to Merton "Bud" Parthie at First Lutheran Church in Shiocton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2005. Since her marriage, she was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church of Stephensville, and a member of their Ladies Aid Society.
    Della was a stay-at-home mom and helped organize the first annual Stephensville Rummage Sales. From 1967 to 1994, she was secretary and volunteer collector for Charities for Combined Fund of Ellington.
    She is survived by her son, Kenneth Parthie, Stephensville; daughter-in-law, Joyce Parthie, Marion; five brothers, Melvin (Dona) Koepke, Shiocton; Erwin (Cindy) Koepke, Green Bay; Merle Koepke, Milwaukee; Leslie (Denise) Koepke, Abilene, Texas; and Robert (Udith) Koepke, Vermilion, Ohio; two sisters, Elaine (Gaylord) Goerl, Appleton; and Rosalie (Gene) Motzer, Appleton; one aunt, Olive McClellan, Arizona; sisters-in-law, Marion Hinkle, Port Clinton, Ohio; Elaine Weber, Appleton; and Elaine Parthie, Michigan; 38 nieces and nephews, many cousins and friends.
    Della is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merton; son, Vernon; two brothers, Donald Koepke and LeRoy Koepke; and three brothers-in-law, Melvin Parthie, Lyle Parthie and Ford Hinkle.
    A funeral service for Della will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Stephensville, with Pastor Joel Lillo officiating. Family and friends may call at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, 109 W. Main Street, Hortonville, from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening and again at church Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time service.

    Obituary:
    Town of Deer Creek, Outagamie County - Melvin H. Koepke, age 87 of the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, passed away Sunday May 13, 2018 at Pine Manor Health Care Center in Embarrass.
    Melvin was born on the home farm in rural Shiocton on February 19, 1931 to the late Harold and Alvena (Sutton) Koepke. He graduated from Shiocton High School in 1949 and that fall he enlisted in the United States Army; serving during the Korean War in Okinawa until 1953. On September 24, 1960 he married Dona Merrill at their home church, First Lutheran, in Shiocton. Melvin loved farming, raising pigs, and planting crops. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, deer hunting, and playing sheephead. He worked at FWD Seagrave until retiring in 1994.
    Melvin is survived by his wife, Dona.
    5 Children: Ronald (Julie) Koepke, Freedom; Christine (Bob) Schilling, Black Creek; Randall & Russell Koepke, Shiocton; and Diane (Jon) Reopelle, Cedar Grove.
    Grandchildren: Zachary (Olivia) Koepke & great-grandsons: Lincoln, Leo, & Louie, Little Chute; Danielle, Rachel, Jacob, Leah, & Sarah Koepke, Freedom; Junior & Cheyenne Schilling, Black Creek; and Boone Reopelle, Cedar Grove.
    Sisters: Elaine (Gaylord) Goerl, Appleton & Rosalie (Gene) Motzer, Appleton.
    Brother: Robert (Judy) Koepke, Vermillion, OH.
    Sisters-in-law: Cindy Koepke, Green Bay; Denise Koepke, Abilene, TX; & Marie Merrill, Shawano.
    Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Della (Bud) Parthie, brothers: Donald, LeRoy, Merle, Erwin, and Leslie Koepke, a brother-in-law William "Bill" Merrill, and his father-in-law & mother-in-law Don and Verna Merrill.
    Melvin's funeral service will be held Friday May 18, 2018 at 2 PM at First Lutheran Church in Shiocton with Rev. Paul Hinz officiating. Interment will follow at the Restland Cemetery in the Town of Deer Creek. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of the service. His family would like to thank Pine Manor for their years of thoughtfully caring for Melvin.     Koepke, Merle E. Age 81, of Milwaukee died January 31, 2016. He was born in Shiocton, WI. The son of Harold and Alvena Koepke.
    He leaves his children Sandy Alexander, David Koepke, and James (Melissa) Koepke, and grandchildren Cindy, Ashton, Austin, Miranda (Joshua), Jacob, and Jonathan, and one great grandchild Mia.
    He was preceded in death by his daughters Nancy and Debbie, and his first wife and mother of his children Janice, his siblings Donald, Della, LeRoy, Erwin, and Leslie. He is survived by his siblings Melvin, Elaine, Rosalie, and Robert.
    Merle lead a full life including serving in the Wisconsin National Guard, pastoring, and operating his ministry "Hands for Jesus". He has touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew him.
    Internment took place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
