    Carol Sue (Filz) Le May, 59, De Pere, passed away September 8, 2010, peacefully surrounded by family and friends following a courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born November 28, 1950, in Appleton, WI, to the late Irvin & Helen (Kluge) Filz. Carol graduated from Oconto Senior High School in 1968. She went on to raise her family there until 1989. While in Oconto her and former husband Richard Le May (Oconto) owned and operated Le May Plumbing & Heating. After moving to Green Bay, WI, in 1989 she went on to receive an Associates Paralegal Degree from NWTC. She was employed by Brown County Child Support Office from 1993 until 2009, she enjoyed her job and had a strong work ethic. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. The grandchildren always looked forward to spending time with her and loved the annual trip to Door County.
    She will be sadly missed by her children; Sarah Le May, Green Bay, David (Elizabeth) Le May and their children Trevor, Justin and Lauren, Seymour, Brian (Tammi) Le May, and their children Savanah, Pariss, Amara and Taryn, Green Bay, brother Ronald (Valerie) Filz, sisters Joyce Loch, Green Bay, Donna (Glenn) Troester, Auburn, NE, Sandra (Warren) Burdick, Howard, Melanie Filz, Green Bay, and Janice (James) Frankson, Green Bay, former husband Richard Le May, Oconto, as well as many other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Le May and nephews Kevin Roulette and Joey Burdick.
    Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 East Mason Street, on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at Atonement Lutheran Church, 2132 Deckner Avenue in Green Bay, from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. James Gerth officiating. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.
    Carol & her family wish to express their deepest gratitude to Dr Nancy Davis, Dr Shie & the nurses & staff at the Vince Lombardi cancer center. They would also like to thank the staff at The Jack & Engrid Meng Residence at Unity Hospice. To all Mom's friends & co-workers who treasured her friendship, & kept her in their thoughts & prayers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You've done so much for Carol during her illness. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    Carol, we will always feel blessed to have had you as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. You will always be in our hearts and remembered lovingly.
