    Margaret M. Lahn (nee Reitz), formerly of Tomahawk and Hartford, WI and Bark River, MI passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Services Skilled Nursing Center in Seymour, WI. She was 84 years old.
    Margaret was born on May 23, 1925 in Omro, Wisconsin to Nestor and Silvia (nee Brandt) Reitz. Margaret grew up in the Black Creek/Seymour area and graduated from Shiocton High School. On March 30, 1946 she married Harold "Fuzzy" Lahn in Napa, CA.
    Always serving others, Margaret spent many years working as a nurse's aid at the hospital and nursing home in Hartford and the Northwoods Nursing Home in Escanaba, MI. While employed at the nursing home in Escanaba, she pursued a course of study to become a Dietary Supervisor, a position she held until her retirement in December 1991. She served as a 4-H leader when her daughters were young and enjoyed teaching others to sew, cook, bake, crochet and knit. She and "Fuzzy" enjoyed competitive shuffleboard and cribbage winning several championships.
    She is survived by her three daughters: Donna (Dave) Schmid of Suwanee, GA; Carol (Steve) Heimerl of Tomahawk, WI; and Jo Ann (Mitch) Moyle of Union Grove, WI; eight grandchildren: Peter Geddeis (Karen) of Elmhurst, IL and Amy (Donald) Coard of Heidelberg, Germany; Lisa (Dale) Elliott of Tomahawk, WI, Paul (Cheri) Heimerl of Kalispell, MT, Stacie Heimerl of Tomahawk, WI, and Eric (Amy) Heimerl of Merrill, WI; Lahnie (Kevin) Neu of Horicon, WI and Matthew (Stacy) Moyle of Neosho, WI; and two step-grandchildren: Sara Schmid of Atlanta, GA and Emily Schmid of Singapore; and 17 great-grandchildren. The oldest of ten children, Margaret is also is survived by five siblings: Dorothy Tank of Black Creek, WI, Dolly Bloedorn of Seymour; Norman (Dorothy) Reitz of Edmonds, WA; Lois (Don) Fries of Decatur, Al and Barbara (Mel) Barclay of Seymour; sister-in-law Delores Reitz of Amberg, WI. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved friend and husband of more than 56 years, Harold "Fuzzy" Lahn; her parents, Nestor and Silvia Reitz; her sisters, Myrtle Reitz and Adeline Land; her brothers, Donald and Bert Reitz; and dearest friends, Stan and Hazel Graul.
    A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union Street, Hartford, WI with Pastor Rebecca Henry of Seymour, WI officiating.
    Visitation will be Saturday from 10 - noon the time of service.
    A private inurnment will take place at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hartford, WI.

    Dorothy A. Tank, age 85, of Black Creek passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012. She was born October 18, 1927 in Oshkosh to the late Nester and Sylvia (Brandt) Reitz. Dorothy lived in Seymour and later moved to Black Creek. She married Carlton Tank on January 22, 1949 and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1996.
    Dorothy and Carlton had a small farm together where they raised ponies and many other animals. Dorothy also drove school bus for Huettl's for over 23 years. She loved knitting booties for everyone in the family. Dorothy loved to bake and was known for her homemade bread. She also enjoyed spending time in her gardens.
    She is survived by her children: James Sr. (Pat) Tank, Amberg; Carl (Barb) Tank, Appleton; Ronald Tank, Seymour; Gerald (Laurie) Tank, Freedom; John (Cindy) Tank, Seymour; Linda (Rich) Elsner, New London; Paul (Terri) Tank, Shiocton; Roger (Mary) Tank, Luxemberg. Further survived 23 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren; two sisters: Dolly Bloedorn and Barb (Mel) Barclay, Seymour; brother Norman (Dorothy) Reitz, WA; sister-in-law Dolores Reitz, Amberg; brother-in-law Don Fries, AL.
    In addition to her husband and parents Dorothy was preceded in death by three sisters: Marge (Harold "Fuzzy") Lahn, Adeline (Darrel) Land, and Lois Fries; brother Albert Reitz, and twin brother Donald (Rita) Reitz.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 4 pm until services at 7 pm. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

    Silva "Dolly" Bloedorn, age 88, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, April 17, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital with family by her side. She was born November 26, 1929.
    She was united in marriage to the late Willis Bloedorn on June 10, 1950, at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Seymour. Dolly was a member of New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour.
    She retired from Huettl Bus Company after 35 years of service.
    She is survived by her five sons: Bob Bloedorn, Rick (Wendy) Bloedorn, Terry (Marcia) Bloedorn, Gary (Beth) Boedorn, Dan (Wendy) Bloedorn; her four daughters: Joan (Tony) Sweeney, Bonnie (Tom) Wagner, Mary (Tim) Collar, and Julie Bloedorn; daughter-in-law, Vicky Bloedorn; 28 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Barb (Melvin) Barclay; brother, Norman (Dorothy) Reitz; brother-in-law, Don Fries; and sister-in-law, Dolores Reitz.
    Dolly is preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Todd and William (Jean) Bloedorn; grandsons, Bryan and Ross Bloedorn; sisters: Dorothy, Marge, Adeline, and Lois; brothers: Donald and Bert.
    Friends may call at New Life United Methodist Church, Seymour on Monday, April 23, 2018, from 9:00 am until services at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Klaisner officiating. Burial will take place in Cicero United Methodist Cemetery.

On June 14, 1958, she married Donald Fries, also of Wisconsin.
    She is survived by her husband (Donald), a son David of Decatur, and three daughters: Sharon (Tony) Thigpen of Debary, Florida; Nancy (Dan) DeCastra of Newburgh, Indiana; Sandra Fries of Nashville, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Matthew DeCastra, Tegan Thigpen, Kelly DeCastra, Nyssa Thigpen, Thomas DeCastra and Janel Thigpen. The second youngest of ten children, Lois is survived by four siblings: Dorothy Tank of Black Creek, WI.; Dolly Bloedorn of Seymour, WI.; Norman (Dorothy) Reitz of Edmonds, WA.; and Barbara (Mel) Barclay of Seymour, WI. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
    Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Myrtle Reitz, Margaret Lahn, and Adeline Land; her brothers: Donald and Bert Reitz.
    Memorial contributions may be made to: Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church Building Fund, Hospice of the Valley, or Decatur General Hospital Foundation.
