    Robert Lee Zirbel, 59, Sturgeon Bay, died at Door County Memorial Hospital on Nov. 19, 2007.
    He was born June 23, 1948, in Sturgeon Bay to Eldor and Helen (Cihlar) Zirbel. On Nov. 4, 1977, he married Judi Massart in Maplewood.
    Survivors include his wife, Judi; two children, Scott (fiance, Wava Berg) Zirbel, Algoma; Nicole (Peter) Altfillisch, Sherwood; two grandchildren, Lauren and Elena; three brothers and two sisters, Ellen (Ray) Jennerjohn, Sturgeon Bay; Wayne (Nancy) Zirbel, Green Bay; Jim (Barb) Zirbel, Abrams; Rick (Diane) Zirbel, Sturgeon Bay; Joanne (Dean) Baumann, Sturgeon Bay; one sister-in-law, Bernadine Massart, Forestville; many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother, Michael; his father and mother-in-law, Albert and Georgian Massart; and brother-in-law, Jim Massart.
    Funeral and veteran services will be Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
