    Loretta M. (Pennings) Penterm an, 3721 Capital Court, Appleton, age 79. went to her eternal rest on Febr uary 12, 1988. She was born May 19, 1908 in the town of Freedom and w as a lifelong resident of Appleton. On May 21, 1928 she married Herman Pen terman Sr. in St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. Early in their marr iage, she and her husband farmed in the Appleton area. She then spent t he rest of her working life employed in several area nursing facilities un til her retirment. She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-la w, Judy and Don Schinke, with whom she resided the last two years; her oth er daughter Noreen Kelly of Milwaukee; her four sons and faur daughte rs in law; Peter and Janice Penterman, and Joseph and Lavern Penterman, a ll of Appleton, Herman and Amy Penterman of Pine River; three brothers a nd two sisters, John Pennings of Green Bay, Arthur and Bernice Pennin gs of Glandale, Arizona, Leo and Lou Pennings of Sheboygan Falls; a sist er Magdelene Benotch of Kaukauna, 11 grandchildren, and numerous great gra ndchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov 12, 1976. thr ee sisters and three brothers and a grandchild, Dawn Penterman. The comple tee funeral...Internment will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery...A memori al fund has been established. At this time we wish to extend our heartfe lt gratification to Sarah Weyenberg and Antionette Durben for their dedica tion and love, Loretta wiil no long be in our daily lives, but we will me et again one day.

    Herman A. Penterman Jr. Eagle Lake, MinnesotaHerman Anthony Penterman Jr., age 62 of Eagle Lake, Minnesota died Wednesd ay morning, June 13, 2001 at Cherry Meadows, Appleton, Wisconsin. He was b orn on June 19, 1938 in Horton, Wisconsin, the son of the late Herman an L oretta (Pennings) Penterman. Herman honored his country by serving in t he U.S. Air Force from 1956 until 1960. He made his home in Appleton, Wisc onsin where he was employed with Piper Industries from 1969 until 198 3. He then worked for R.J. Immel and Sons Excavating in Appleton and th en with Hiniker Company in Mankato, Minnesota from 1987 until the ti me of his illness. He married Amy Hartenbach on May 26, 1990 in Madison La ke, Minnesota and they have made their home in Eagle Lake, Minnesota. Herm an was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, Minnesot a. Herman loved his home, gardening, growing roses and spending many hou rs enjoying the outdoors, woods and hunting with his special nephew Fran J r.He is survived by his wife Amy Penterman, Eagle Lake, Minnesota; a daught er and son-in-law: Jaunita and Dan Zenefski, Dale, Wisconsin; a brother a nd sister-in-law: Frances and Ruth Penterman, Waupaca, Wisconsin; a sist er and brother-in-law: Judi and Donald Schinke, Appleton, Wisconsin; a gra nddaughter Ashley, and a number of nieces and nephews.     Judith "Judi" (Penterman) Schinke, age 69, of Appleton, went to be in the comforting hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus. Judi passed on Friday, December 8, 2017. She is survived by her husband of thirty-six years in marriage, Don and many other dear relatives and friends. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
    The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537, N. Superior Street in Appleton. Visitation will be held on Thursday starting at 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Judi's name.
