Obituary:
James "Jim" L. Beahm, age 70, of Kaukauna, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was born on January 23, 1947, son of the late Clifford and Florence (Lau) Beahm. On August 25, 1972, Jim married Diane Verbeten at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukauna.
Jim worked for AT&T for 40 years before his retirement. He enjoyed reading and working in his yard. Most of all, Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their activities. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren, they were his life.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Diane; his children: Mark (Sarah) Beahm, Jenny (Eric) Schneider and Lisa (Scott) Parker; his precious grandchildren: Paige and Brooke Beahm, Casey, Annabel and Mason Schneider, Avery, Peyton and Olivia Parker; siblings: Pat Brault, Cheryl (Jim) Van Stiphout and Lori Beahm; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, James and Rosella Verbeten; a brother-in-law, Leon Brault; nephews: Joshua Verbeten and Mark Kiar.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday morning at Holy Cross Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
