    Josephine Mitchell 1605 W. Haskell St Age 91, passed away at 3 45 p m. Wednesday after a lingering illness. She was born December 30, 1877 in Innsberg, Austria and had been an Appleton resident for the past 64 years She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, a past member of the Christian Mothers Society of St Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Roman (Sohie) Stilp, Menasha, Mrs. Clarence (Betty) Voight, Mrs. Ralph (Leone) Ably, both of Appleton; one son Joseph A , Menasha; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9-30 m. from St Bernard Catholic Church. Burial in St. Joseph cemetery Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 2p m Friday The prayer service will be held at 8 pm. Friday evening.

    Geraldine "Geri" Westgor, 70, Appleton, and formerly of Navarino, passed away March 5, 2011. She was born July 25, 1940, to the late Roman and Sophie (Mitchell) Stilp. On Sept. 18, 1965, she married Ronald Westgor who preceded her in death on July 30, 1988.
    She had been a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Navarino, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and was a member of the St. Lawrence Ladies Society. Geri enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
    She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Kofnetka (special friend, Steve), Appleton; four sons, Kevin (Karla), Pulaski; Steven, Kaukauna; Christopher, Menasha; and Gregory (special friend, Mandy), Navarino; five grandchildren, Marissa (Steve) Pankratz, Brianna and Brock Westgor, Samuel and Cassidy Kofnetka; and one great-grandchild, Aiden Pankratz. Also survived by two sisters, Marilyn (Jim) Sawicki, Oshkosh; and Barbara Stilp, Neenah.
    In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne Stilp.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, March 7, 2011, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Navarino, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Theodore Hendricks officiating.

    Obituary:
    Barbara J. Stilp, 66 years, passed away August 24, 2017 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was born February 24, 1951 to her parents Roman F. and Sophie T. (Mitchell) Stilp in Appleton, Wisconsin at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Barb was a graduate of St. Mary High School, Menasha.
    She was a retiree of Kimberly-Clark Paper after 31 years of service where she was an office assistant. She had fond memories of the family owned Woodsedge Resort in Cable, Wisconsin during her teen years. Barbara was a lover of music who would share recordings as a gift to her family. She played guitar and especially loved The Beatles. Guests over age 16 at her home would be invited to play pool. Barb would share her beloved dog, Sophie, by visiting local nursing homes to brighten the day of those who could not have a pet. Reading was an important pass time to Barbara with Stephan King novels being a first choice.
    Barb will be missed by her brother-in-law James Sawicki, niece Laurie (Westgor) Kofnetka, nephews Joe (Cathy) Sawicki, Mike (Jenny) Sawicki, Dan (Missy) Sawicki, Bob (Jennifer) Sawicki, Andy (Jill) Sawicki, Kevin (Karla) Westgor, Steve Westgor, Chris Westgor, Greg (Mandy Maass) Westgor, 17 great- nieces and nephews, 1 great-great-nephew, 1 great-great-niece, special friends Linda, Judy and Mary, and her many friends at Buchanan Cottages where Barb lived with her dog, Sophie.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Diane Stilp, Marilyn Sawicki, and Geraldine (Ronald) Westgor.
    A Funeral Service for Barb will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 5:00 pm at Wichmann Funeral Home Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Private inurnment St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may gather Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Laemmrich Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until time of Service.
    In lieu of flowers a memorial in Barb's name will be established.
    Special thank you to the staff at CVS 3rd floor at Thedacare Regional Medical Center- Appleton and Cherry Meadows hospice for their professional and loving care of Barb.

    Surrounded by love, Janis Weiland passed away at home on Sunday evening, April 16, 2017. Janis was born in Appleton on May 11, 1947, daughter of the late Clarence and Betty (Mitchell) Voigt. She was a graduate of Xavier High School and Mercy School of Nursing in Oshkosh. On March 9, 1968, Janis married Gary Weiland in Appleton. Janis was a registered nurse for thirty-two years on the rehabilitation unit at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Prior to her retirement, she was a home healthcare nurse with Ministry Health. Janis was a beautiful and gracious woman. Her family were her friends and her friends were her family.
    She enjoyed simple pleasures: never missing the grandchildren's sporting events; watching movies with her grandson; looking forward to morning coffee with her beloved sister and brother-in-law; spoiling her golden retriever, Pedro, with snacks; drinking her Blue Moons; cheering for the Milwaukee Brewers; lunching with her girlfriends; and thoroughly enjoying every single day of her life.
    Janis is survived by three children: Ann (James) Chesnutt of Appleton; Christian (Heidi) Weiland of Menasha and their children Ethan and Haden; Joseph (Michelle) Weiland of Menasha and their children Allison and Ryan; two brothers: James (Noritha) Voigt of Fremont and Steven (Debra) Voigt of Winneconne; two sisters: Mary (Don Loga) Voigt of Wisconsin Dells and Sue (Curt) Foth of Appleton; brother-in-law Greg (Kathy Taplan) Weiland of Neenah; sister-in-law Lois (Dennis) Wiesner of Hortonville. There are also many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Janis was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother Gary, and her in-laws Buck, Verna, Mark, and Carl Weiland.
    Friends and family are invited to the visitation on Friday, April, 21, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton. The Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Pullen officiating. Per Janis's wish there will be a celebration of life following the Memorial Service.
    The family would like to acknowledge the following for their care and compassion: Dr. Tammela and his extraordinary staff at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay; the third floor med-surg unit at St. Elizabeth Hospital; and Heartland Hospice.
    There is no death-only a change of worlds.
