    Obituary:
    Elmer W. Tilque, 86, Green Bay, formerly of Appleton, passed away Monday morning, June 5, 2017. He was born Oct. 2, 1930, the son of George and Catherine (De Both) Tilque. Elmer served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Jeanette Bergsland and she preceded him in death in 1997. Elmer started his career as a letter carrier in Green Bay, then he became postmaster in Algoma before becoming postmaster in Sturgeon Bay, later retiring in 1988. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan, golfing, making stain glass creations, specializing in stepping stones. Elmer was a Packers usher for 44 years.
    Surviving are his children, Doug Tilque, Greg (Kathy) Tilque, Debra Tilque, Lori (Tom) Rabas; former daughter-in-law, Sandy Tilque; grandchildren, Brett (Sarah) Tilque and their daughter, Lydia, Jason Tilque, Natalie Tilque, Jason (Michelle) Tilque and their children, Abbi and Silas, Sean (Sarah) Watts and their children, Molly and Austin, Kyle Rabas who passed away in 1989, Jennifer (fiancé, Josh) Rabas, Katie Rabas; Elmer's siblings, Rosemary Baird, Larry (Barbara) Tilque, Kathleen Pikulski; numerous nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his grandson, Kyle, Elmer was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Francis) Tilque, and brothers-in-law, Shirley Baird and Ed Pikulski.
    Family and friends may call at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 3425 Willow Road, Green Bay, on Friday, June 16, from 10:00a.m. until the time of Mass of Resurrection at 11:30a.m. with Rev. Robert Rhyner officiating. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Please go to www.cotterfuneralhome.com to express condolences.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund for Unity Hospice has been established.
    Elmer's family extends a sincere thank you to the entire staff at Bellevue Retirement Community, as well as Unity Hospice for their care and concern.
