    Nellie M. Calaway, 92, De Pere, passed away Tuesday ev ening at Woodside Lutheran Home. She was born Dec. 30, 1910, in Wiscons in Rapids, daughter of the late George and Anna (Pauly) Vogels. She was un ited in marriage to John Calaway in De Pere. For 18 years Nellie work ed at St. Norbert College in the cafeteria. She especially enjoyed servi ng the Packers during spring training. Nellie liked to play schmeer and be longed to a card club. Nellie also belonged to the Navy Mothers. She enjoy ed listening and dancing to polka music and watching stock car races. Abo ve all Nellie was a Packer fan.Survivors include her children, Robert (Diane) Calaway, California; Rosal ie (Darold) Rogers, De Pere; five grandchildren, Lorie (Darrell), Terry J o, Lisa, Paula, and Eric; one great-granddaughter, Ashlee; three brother s, George Vogels, Barney (Dot) Vogels and Pete (Doty) Vogels; numerous nie ces, nephews, and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1953; one brother, Bi ll (Tina) Vogel; sister, Mayme (Frosty) DeBroux; and one sister-in-law, Ma rlo Vogels. Members of John's family further preceded Nellie in death.Friends may call after 9 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Churc h, De Pere, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial wi ll be in Mt. Calvary cemetery De Pere.The family would like to thank the south wing at Woodside Lutheran home, a nd Pastor Stan.RYAN FUNERAL HOME, De Pere, is assisting the family with arrangements.
