    Marion C. St. Marie, age 80, Appleton, formerly of New London, passed away on November 7, 2009, at Cherry Meadows Nursing Home under the care of ThedaCare at Home following a short illness. Marion was born on March 14, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois. On June 25, 1949, she was united in marriage to Robert E. St. Marie at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha. Marion was a resident of New London from 1963 until 2005, when she moved to the Appleton Retirement Community. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Church, New London.
    She is survived by her two daughters: Donna (Bruce) Dopp, Wild Rose and Julie (Jeff) Snell, De Pere; five sons: Joe (Cheryl) St. Marie, Waupaca; John (Mary) St. Marie, Winneconne; Jim (Barb) St. Marie, New London; Bill St. Marie of Appleton; Larry (Rhonda) St. Marie, Appleton; two brothers: James (Carol) Williams, Appleton; Tom (Mary) Williams, Dayton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Kenneth Ste Marie, Appleton; sister-in-law, Carole Ste Marie, Appleton; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert (D.O.D. July 12, 2008); daughter, Mary Ellen Riley; granddaughter, Angela Riley; and brother, Donald Williams.
    The Funeral Mass for Marion will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at Most Precious Blood Church, New London, with Rev. David Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Most Precious Blood Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and again at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
    Marion's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Appleton Retirement Community and Cherry Meadows.
    A memorial fund has been established in Marion's name.
