    Donald M. Fuhrmann, 81, Appleton, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born on December 17, 1934 to the late Ervin and Rose (Stickney) Fuhrmann in Birnamwood, WI. He attended Clintonville High School and worked as a Leather Cutter for Zwicker Knitting Mills. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing and feeding the birds. He always had a green thumb for gardening and was proud of his tomato plants.
    He is survived by his three children; Susan (Terry) Hammel, Paula (Emory) Elbe, Sarah (Randy) Lamb; grandchildren, Stephanie and Jason Hammel, Tyrone, Tanya and Alex Elbe and Brandon Lamb; brother, Gene (Bernice) Fuhrmann; step-children, Bob (Maggie) Jansen and Judy (Roy) Garvin; as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, June; grandson, Randy Jr. "Ranch" Lamb; and sister, Mabel (Laverne) Stoffel.
    Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton, from 2 pm to the time of funeral service at 4 pm.

    Gene Ervin Fuhrmann, age 74, of Clintonville passed away on October 24, 2017 at home.
    He was born on November 29, 1942 in Clintonville, son of the late Ervin and Rose (Stickney) Fuhrmann. He graduated from Clintonville High School, Class of 1961. Gene married Bernice (Engel) on July 20, 1968.
    He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968, spending 1 year in Korea. His lifelong interests were hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed spending time with his grandsons.
    Gene is survived by his wife Bernice, daughter Rachel (Kevin) Saari, two grandsons Nicholas and Jacob all of Iron Mountain, Michigan, sisters and brothers in law Betty and Carl Kosbab of Bonduel and Roger and Eileen Engel of Green Bay, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin and Rose (Stickney) Fuhrmann, a sister Mabel (Lavern) Stoffel, and a brother Donald (June) Fuhrmann.
    Gene's funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday October 28, 2017 at St. Paul Church in Clintonville with Rev. Titus Buelow officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Military honors conducted by members of the American Legion Post 3, VFW Post 664, and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 63 will follow the service outside of the church.
